Tanekaha Treehut is a cosy little cabin nestled in a private forest valley, the perfect romantic hideaway near some of New Zealand's best beaches. Enjoy the covered deck, native bird calls, and the sound of a nearby waterfall. A modest kitchen provides self-catering essentials, while the private bathroom, down a well-lit forest path, offers a tranquil alfresco shower experience. The property backs onto the Kauaeranga River, a beautiful clean flowing river with an idyllic swimming hole at the end of the property. The majestic Pinnacles walking track is at the end of the road. The cottage is just 5km from the centre of Thames township; everything is nearby, including the popular Hauraki Rail Trail which is a 3.5km cycle from Bakehouse Cottage.

Our beautiful 1 bedroom cottage has fabulous modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, living-room and bbq area and its only a few steps to the beach. In addition the cottage is within walking distance to the local dairy, parks, boat-ramp and open tennis courts.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.
