Perfect calm bay for swimming, paddleboarding, and watersports. Launch the boat off the beach ramp, spend the day fishing in Doubtless Bay or go out wide for game fish or off the rocks at either end of the beach.

Doubtless Views is a large family home set on a regularly maintained 1.7 acre private garden estate with an unobstructed 180 degree view of Doubtless Bay in it's entirety, from Tokerau Beach right round to the village at Hihi and all in between. Paengatia is approximately 30 mins from Cape Reinga, Rarawa beach, Henderson bay, giant sand dunes, Te Paki, Tapotupotu bay and Spirits bay not far. Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Wharau Lodge

Wharau Lodge is a privately owned 2 bedroom home which is available to be used as an idyllic holiday retreat offering panoramic views over the Bay of Islands. If we do not have people staying before or after you we offer flexible check in and check out. We charge a $85 cleaning fee. Also there is an optional $55 charge if you would like us to have the Hot Tub ready to use.
