beautiful little peaceful cabin

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

Emma and Mikes is an awsome place to stay. I was there for a month and they helped me with everything I asked. The Villa is secure, safe and has double glazing and full wall insulation. It is snug warm and draught free. Lovley no other words. Wifi speed is more than adequate for watching internet movies with no buffering. The home is clean and well maintained and furnishing is very comfortable especially the beds, which I belive have memory foam for a perfect sleep. I loved the kitchen set up and did a lot of cooking lol. The view from the doorway and bedroom is lovley and the place is literally on the sea front. The garden is fenced and well maintained. The home is situated near to some beautiful walking tracks. 10 out 10 for Emma and Mike for this wonderful frendly little jewel. Well recomended and cannt wait to come back.

Stunning rural location close to Wellington City. Comfy beds & had all the amenities for an excellent stay. Super friendly & cute cat!

I was travelling with a dog and this accomodation was perfect for this. Would be perfect anyway. I left early to catch the ferry to the South Island and it was just a quick drive down the motorway to board. Great spot fully recommend thanks Paul

We stayed 2 nights at Jan and David’s place over a long weekend, while we explored the area and visited Kapiti Island (for the first time, it was great). The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for. Stylishly presented, very comfortable, an excellent ensuite (great shower). Jan and David were excellent hosts - very obliging ang welcoming. Would stay there again and recommend their place.

A great stay at Blairs place, perfect location within a short stroll to the Main Street of Greytown. Even though the pool house itself is on the same premises and in quite close proximity to his home it felt private and was no issue with coming and going throughout our stay. The pool looked stunning although we didn't get time to swim in it, the pool house itself was big and spacious, and was warm and cozy with the heat pump and had everything my friend and I needed for our girls weekend away.

We loved staying with Sandy! A stunning, quiet, beautiful location perfect for a holiday getaway. We loved seeing the stars and being woken up by the sun rising. The complimentary breakfast was also a great touch, making it easy for quiet lazy mornings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay here again. Sad to go home!

Amazing space. Exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Chrissie was a responsive host. Loved the spot - the old LPs, a gloomy autumn day and the falling leaves made it feel like we were miles away. Would recommend.

Incredible! The hosts were lovely and accommodating. The space was very fairly priced, warm, modern, clean, and dry. The surroundings were beautiful and private. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm in the area.

This lady is an amazing soul, we felt very welcomed by her and her husband. Also really Amazing views I took my girlfriends with me and it honestly felt like a sleep over with the way it was set up . We all had so much fun and could all see each other and talk to one another before heading off too bed 😊 she even offered to help us when needed which cherry didn’t have too but we are very appreciative that she did. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will go back again one day. Thanks cherry for being a great host ❤️

We had a very happy time here. The view is amazing and the cottage has a good feeling. We'd love to stay again! We recommend Sugar & Spice Café in Upper Hutt, and Kaitoke Regional Park, if you can wrench yourself away from the cottage.

Very convenient for us as we split our time between Wellington and Paraparaumu; 5 mins drive to get on the expressway to south/north. Aptly named location, woke to birdsong. Perfect, highly recommended.

We loved staying at this lovely little cottage. It was a little house really. Great to have a washing machine and dryer. Also great kitchen supplies and set up. Not that we used it much except for our own breakfast but there were so many things supplied. I would recommend it to anyone.

Had a very enjoyable stay here for a month, Prue and Kevin made us feel at home and were very accommodating, friendly and responsive as hosts. The unit is in a very quiet location but close to parks, public transport and shops. I would definitely recommend it as a great choice for anyone wanting to stay in Silverstream!

The room was beautiful with the view. Very clean and lovely. We did wonder where the second bed was though as the listing said two queen beds, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. Julie is lovely and I would definitely stay again. A gem in the hills of Plimmerton.

What a find! Such a peaceful, chilled spot with everything you might need to recharge the batteries. It's off the beaten track but very driveable to spots including the Tui Brewery ( great food if beer isn't your thing) Would recommend, full of lovely touches including milk and eggs.

Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend at the White Shed. The accommodation has been beautifully decorated and there are so many thoughtful touches like comfy robes, yummy fresh bread, eggs and homemade jam to name a few. We would love to come back again as we just didn't want to leave this lovely property.

This is a lovely place. Full kitchen cooking facilities. Ample Kitchen-dining space and living room. It got cold in the evening so I turned the heat pump on. Heated up the room quickly. Washing machine/dryer in bathroom/shower. Lovely comfortable bed and nice bedding. Very private. Beautiful birdsong. I think I heard an owl or a morepork as well. The neighbourhood is very nice. Easy downhill walk to new world and shops. Railway station and buses also very handy to Upper Hutt, Queensgate Lower Hutt and Wellington city. Great stay overall and immaculate accomodation.

Great stay in Tokomaru! Communication with Marie was super easy, and the home was modern, clean, and well-equipped. The quiet, dog-friendly stay was a bonus, and it’s less than 30 minutes to the beach. Would definitely recommend!
