Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

I only have good things to say about this place! I worked with Margo (the co-host) on having our engagement photoshoot and she was very friendly and nice about the whole thing! Unfortunately, my fiancé and I weren't able to sleep overnight, however, we loved the place so much that we are so so excited to come back and fully enjoy every ounce of relaxation that this place offers! The hosts were so thoughtful that they even left 4 dog bowls for our 4 dogs SHOULD we have decided to bring them :) we ended up not bringing any, but the thoughtful touch & ease of working with them about the pets and shoot was one of the nicest and easiest I've experienced yet. One small heads up about the eco shared bathroom! It didn't bother us at all, but it seems to literally be a hole deeeep down in the ground with ground limestone (I think) powder to pour into it to cover after yourself. Honestly, I prefer that over any portopotty ever lol. It was SUPER clean. No complaints! Just different:) very eco:)

Great home! Clean and well appointed. Only stayed one night as we passed through Charlotte on our road trip but really liked the home.

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

Amazing house, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Has everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies. Beautiful views from throughout the house. Hot tub was well maintained and perfectly placed to enjoy the view. Would most definitely stay here again!

This was our first experience using airb&b and it was awesome. My wife loved the cabin and the quiet setting along with the trails. Ellen was awesome as we were a last minute trip and she immediately told us to come on. Everything was as described and well worth every penny. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Also, stop and speak to Murphy, he is a cool little dude.

So much room and so much relaxation! Our special needs family has a few unique circumstances - but Richardʼs home was never an issue for us! Well lit, clean, spacious accommodations with clear and concise resources. We had a wonderful time!

3800 Sulkirk met all of our needs. I grew up in Charlotte and we were in town for my mom's 90th birthday celebration and we needed a 3BR home that permitted dogs. My husband and I were there with our 3 adult children. The location is very convenient and easy to get to. Hawthorne Pizza (and other restaurants) and Harris Teeter are very close by. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. Beach towels were provided as were dog biscuits, a nice touch! Check in is easy as is check out. Great stay and no complaints. Awesome place to stay. Host was very responsive during stay. Would stay again. Very flexible check in and check out times. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty of room for guests.

Everything that was advertised, I received

My family was in Charlotte for a sad event and Mikes home was not only very comfortable but had lots of areas of the home we could individually escape to and be alone with our thoughts. We spent 5 nights and went for walks, watched our 2 pups play in the yard and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the cozy dining room for meals. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and beds and pillows super comfortable. Our trip was unexpected and we hadn’t packed enough clothing. It was super helpful being able to wash and dry our clothes. Mikes appliances were so nice it was a reminder I would love to replace my washer and dryer! My immediate and extended family visit Charlotte often. I am so grateful to have found this gem of a house. No doubt we will be back often. Oh and I must suggest a fabulous place to have dinner if you like seafood and sushi….New Zealand Cafe. Quaint, delicious and extremely affordable. Took an Uber in order to indulge in adult beverages!

We loved Joe and Mary's! We only wished we booked a longer stay with them because we felt right at home. Central area to whatever we needed but very private and quiet. I loved the nature and walking out to see the animals in the morning. Kids loved it and enjoyed some time outside for once. Looking forward to another stay here in the future. Eli's place was just what we were looking for. Simple, free of clutter and in a safe neighborhood. Parks we're close so that was nice with kids.

Wonderful home on a beautiful point with a fantastic view!! We would certainly stay here again, the whole house has a perfectly chill lake vibe, comfortable furniture, and is immaculately clean! Arouna & Charlie were wonderful hosts, immediately responsive and the care they have for this home shows!

I will stay was very relaxing, comfortable and lots of very comfortable couches to sit on lots of entertainment no issues with not having enough pots pans and kitchen where to cook with my favorite was the coffee machine lol plenty of comfortable seats outside. Perfect venue for large family group plenty of outdoor space for relaxation entertainment throughout the house. We are definitely coming back with our grandchildren. And the rooms are very large bedrooms. There was even a variety of music to play. And lots and lots of books for relaxing and reading. I will stay was wonderful.

From start to finish, this was a positive experience. The home is so lovely I really hated to leave! Also, my sweet pup LOVED being there. 😊🐾💖

Very private, safe, and quiet. Could barely hear a thunderstorm which was great as our dog is scared. Rachel's communication is on point. She was very responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Second stat here in a month, just a perfect place to stay overnight on our way to/from Florida. Thanks David, you keep this space so immaculate and clean and we really enjoyed staying here. Super-highly recommended!

What a great trip. I was in town for a convention and decided not to stay at the hotel. The place was in an amazing location, I walked to the days meetings, got coffee in my way. Plenty of food options, really no need for a car at all, I took an Uber only once. The hosts made it super easy to check in and even allowed me to check in much earlier than I originally expected due to a flight change. Highly recommend this stay and the hosts. -M

I booked this home so my husband and I could visit our family for the holidays who live about 30 mins away. It was able to accommodate us perfectly. I also have a baby who was able to have an entire nursery to herself which was such a blessing as we wanted her to be comfortable and unaffected. Even though the owners live at the property, the home was absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. They even had a Christmas tree up that we were so excited to gather around on Christmas morning. Very grateful to have found this listing!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!
