Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

京町家 天の川 〔Maison à Kyoto Amanogawa〕

This is a nice place to visit Kyoto, just near the river Shirakawa, a really nice place sometimes used for movies or series. The house is near Chioin, Kodaiji, Higashiyama, Yasaka shrine. Just near the house, there is an old market where you can buy and eat Japanese food.
