Kamigyo Ward: аренда квартир

My husband and I stayed for three nights in this apartment and it was a great choice for our time in Kyoto. We loved the location on a quiet street that was an easy walk to public transit and the Nishiki Market. The kitchenette worked well for making very light meals. Wifi was consistent. Sugimoto communicated well and allowed us to drop off our big luggage a couple hours prior to the check in time, which we appreciated.

GREAT location! Walkable to the train station and to many amazing restaurants, shrines, convenience stores, parks etc. Instructions for everything were crystal clear. The only thing I wish I had known is that it is on the corner of a very busy intersection so it was noisy at night and in the mornings. Also, there is a restaurant next door on the same floor so people coming and going to eat will be heard. If you are prepared for that, you’ll be totally happy with the convenient location. I went during the peak season (cherry blossom illumination for the neighborhood) so that is probably why it was so crowded/noisy! Possibly other times of the year are quieter. Also wish I had known- you will only be provided 1 towel/person for your entire stay and the towels are small and thin. Bring some if you can! Or you can wash it obviously. It rained while we were there so things took forever to dry. But there’s a laundromat within walking distance for drying if need be! Overall, great stay!

We had the best stay at Kaz’s! The unit is in a great location, a peaceful residential neighbourhood with restaurants, cafe and onsen close by and right next to a beautiful park and temple, also easy access to transportation for sight-seeing. Kaz was so helpful and kind during our stay and even picked us up when we got a little lost on our way to the airbnb. He gave us lots of great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We also had access to bikes, which was really nice since Kyoto is a bike friendly-city. The apartment was clean, well cared for and had a nice little balcony. Definitely would stay again if we come back to Kyoto!

The locations in good close to bout train stations. With few good attractions nearby. As well as east access to buses. The room I stayed in was small, however, big enough for one person. Was clean and included everything needed. The thing I really appreciate was an iron. Which is rather rarity if is coming to Japanese apartment's equipment. The kitchen wasn't actually a kitchen just unit in a passage but it didn't bother me as I don't cook on holiday.

Super nice place to stay. The location closed with the train station, supermarkets, restaurants as well. Royce was super helpful, kind and friendly. I still remember when my husband accidentally left his bag in the train, Royce help us without hesitate to contact the officer of the lost&found department and he guide us how to get our bag back. We really appreciate it for Royce help. 🙂

הדירה נקיה, נוחה מאד ומאובזרת, מקלחת ושירותים איכותיים, מיטה מפנקת, המטבח מתאים בעיקר לארוחות קלות. אפריל היא מארחת נהדרת, קיבלה בחום את פנינו, היתה תמיד זמינה והגיבה במהירות ובנדיבות לכל בקשה, טיפלה בכביסה ובשילוח המזוודות ביעילות ואף פינקה במאפינס שאפתה. הדירה ממוקמת קרוב לתחנת המטרו ובמרחק כ 10 דקות הליכה מתחנת קיוטו. נהנינו מאד מהדירה ומהאירוח ואנחנו ממליצים בחום.

Lived the space. Centrally located

Cocrorro hotel is great. The station and Family mart are literally steps away. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only thing you need to be made aware of is there is no elevator, so you will have to carry your luggage up the narrow stairs. It’s a great value! I plan on staying there anytime I come to Kyoto!!

I recently stayed at a lovely apartment in Kyoto, and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment beautifully combines traditional Japanese charm with modern amenities, located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from attractions like Kiyomizu-dera and Gion. The space is immaculate, featuring comfortable furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen that made my stay even more enjoyable. My host was incredibly welcoming and provided helpful local tips, enhancing my experience in the city. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough—I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

there was water bottles, extra linen a few stains on the sofa, dining table looks worn, construction outside the room, hangers were a bit of all sorts but I'm always just glad to have as many hangers as possible but otherwise the neighborhood is great can feel the host takes cares of the place great big tub the silverware baskets were great organization spacious apartment there was paper towel, slippers I would come back to stay again, though would be curious how tall the new construction next door will be beside this top floor apartment fantastic host!

The place is lovely and you get to meet a not-so-crowded area of Kyoto. There are public parks, temples, shrines, and restaurants nearby. The closes train/metro is 1,7km away so if you are a fast walker or you just rent a luup or kotobike that’s the quickest way to get downtown. Else you have lots of bus stops nearby, they just take a bit longer. Best for long stays, not so much for people in a rush.

Mayumi was there when we arrived, was incredibly accommodating and a real pleasure to speak with. She showed us everything in the house and gave us excellent recommendations. She even helped me planned my proposal (secretly) as I need helped navigating the crowds in Kyoto! The unit was wonderful and very much a true Japanese experience compared to a western-style hotel. It was nothing flashy, but had all the modern comforts. There was even an option for doubling up the bedding to provide more comfort for those more accustomed to softer, deeper beds. The balcony was beautiful and relaxing in the mornings. There is a somewhat busy street across from the balcony that hosts ryokans and restaurants, but nowhere as busy or intrusive as the Kawaramachi area (conveniently) just up the block. Just be aware during the day, that there is a some foot traffic 20 feet away if you keep the doors open, it peaks early evening and is empty by night so you can sleep peacefully.

Top Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und gut gelegen. Besonders der zur Verfügung gestellte Parkplatz ist super, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Der Gastgeber war freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great accommodation, comfy beds and lots of storage space for luggage. The kitchen and bathroom were small but perfect for what was needed and the accommodation included everything we could need. Very friendly hosts and check in was easy, thank you!

I love the place I was at, everything was so near and easy to find. The host did a great job checking me in and out. Was there for a whole month so it felt like home and was so comfortable. I highly recommend for a ling stay because everything you need is near by.

Minden rendben es gördülékenyen ment, személyesen nem talalkozzunk a hazigazdával, de a megadott utasitások alapján egyértelmű volt minden, ha nem, akkor pedig gyorsan valaszt kaptunk. Kyoto station közel van, minden könnyen elérhető.

Definitely enough space for 1-2 people. I like that it had an elevator since I’m carrying way too much. Area is really close to two stores - market and grocery store. The grocery store across the street has more variety and better prices than the market near the station. Station is a 3 min walk and you can get to lots of areas without having to transfer. It was a bit pricey but I think most areas in Kyoto might be.

A wonderful stay in Kyoto! Would definitely come back here next time :) it is on the fourth floor so keep that in mind there are many stairs.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

great place to stay for 2 people. the bunk beds save space and the rest of the unit is good. washroom was good size, with heated cooled and ventilation fan. washing machine is a bit hard to use but definetly wash and then dry your clothes in the shower area. luggage drop is super convenient, as they will put the luggage in your room when it is ready. we dropped it off and went about our day not missing a beat in the travel.

We absolutely loved this! Very traditional, and a great bath!

Bathroom was stunning, adminities- high tech, and the whole place was such a vibe. host was very responsive. my only wish is that we could have stayed for more than one night! So walkable to local bars and entertainment. could not have asked for a safer and convenient location! I would stay again.
