Wow, what a fantastic place! I loved it so much.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding in Bentota. It was an excellent place to stay and relax following all the events associated with a South Indian wedding. The location was a bit out of the way - our initial Uber there wound up charging us extra because we had to go up a dirt road - but Edward was very accommodating and put us in touch with a few tuk-tuk drivers who took us to and from the different events that were planned. He even drove us to an event himself when we couldn't find a ride. The food was also quite good - every meal had a spread of Sri Lankan dishes cooked from locally sourced ingredients. He shared the proposed menu with us and adjusted it after learning that our party had three vegetarians.

I spent the last four weeks in this most beautiful house in Sri Lanka, by far the best Airbnb rental which I have occupied on the island. The place is exactly as described, and suited my needs perfectly. The house, furniture, and furnishings are modern, and having a private the garden is an added benefit. The host was easy to communicate with, and having Ajith, the caretaker/manager who is always available, and ready to help, was definitely an asset. Thank you providing an unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, and I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list, for my next visit to the island.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Duminda's place. I had the entire top floor of the building to myself. It is spacious, well-designed, and nicely furnished. Duminda was very helpful by meeting me at the train station with his friend Samantha, who drives a tuktuk. During my time there, I was able to hire Samantha to take me to the Bawa sites that I wanted to see. If that is what you are after, I highly recommend him. I would not hesitate for a moment recommending Duminda's home. I would happily return if I am in the area again.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Located away from the main road so it was very peaceful and quiet. The master bedroom has air conditioning which was a lifesaver due to how warm Kalutara was during our stay. Other bedrooms have ceiling fans. Overall a very clean and spacious property. Thanks for having us!

Very nice place, and couple minutes walking distance to town - all the shopping and restaurants you could ask for. The host family is very nice, accommodating, and reaponsive. Great stay! So much more than this traveler needed, and oh so nice. Loved being able to do laundry. Did it at night and it was dry in the morning - they have a drying rack which was awesome. Thank you for everything!

This is a sweet little house just up the road from Moragalla Beach. The beach is protected by a coral reef so it's perfect for little kids. It's very easy to travel by train from Colombo or points south. Don't miss the Fish Market in Maradana or the Gem Market in China Fort. We also enjoyed charter fishing and seeing the baby turtles at the nearby hatchery. Best of all though was the caretaker, Victor and his wonderful family. Thanks to them for everything they did to make us feel welcomed and at home.

We had a wonderful three-week stay at Thusitha's apartment. The place was clean, spacious, and peaceful. The apartment's location was great—just 45 to 60 minutes from the airport and close to Homagama town centre, making it easy for us to get around. The apartment's cleanliness, spaciousness, and tranquil ambience provided the perfect setting for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were so comfy, and also provided extra linens, clean towels, and reliable Wi-Fi, making us feel right at home. Mrs. Thusitha's attentive care and quick response to an issue with the hot water were truly commendable, reflecting her dedication to ensuring a seamless experience for her guests. We're looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you, Thusitha, and best wishes.

When planning my trip to the South Province of Sri Lanka I was looking for an authentic, calm, modern, clean and one of a kind accommodation. The BoBo's Cinnamon Estate Duwabedda met more then my expectations. I am still dreaming of the soft breeze, the shy smell of cinnamon, the peacocks who visited us before heading to the next lot (this time a rice field), the smooth awakening early in the morning (gentle prayers of the Buddhist monks from far away, early morning songs of the birds...), the lovely Ceylon tea, the host's topless tuk tuk that brought us to the sea side, Galle and other destinations, and so much more... Catrin and Bharatha were caring and loving hosts. They were present yet discreet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I booked the place for my two children and they were very satisfied. Upon request the clear instructions were given and the contact number, too. Nearby Keels Supermarket helped them many ways. The place is neat and tidy. They did not have any problem during their stay. The security person is an additional bonus. Only thing is there is a nasty dog belong to one of the neighbours and it is worth informing them to shut the gate. Once my daughter had shut it as the dog was running towards her. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay near Katubedda Campus. I might book the place again, as the place is walkable to my mum. I wish you all the best.

Great place overall. Went with few friends to relax and place was worth the money as everything was fully functional. Host was very helpful, she kept constantly checking up on us even though we got late to arrive at the apartment and gave clear instructions around the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

This is an absolute must-stay in Sri Lanka! Wijaya's property is a wonderful, bright and private apartment on the top floor of his sprawling house. The apartment has an AC-cooled bedroom, and ceiling fan-cooled living room, dining room and kitchen, all very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need. There is also a large balcony. The place is clean and modern, with character furniture, very spacious and comfortable. The house is a comfortable walk to the beach through the verdant neighborhood, the star attractions the peacocks that gather on the surrounding rooftops. Wijaya is a fantastic host, and will go out of his way to ensure that your stay is excellent. In a country with great Airbnb hosts, he towers above the rest. Well beyond the basics, he went out of his way to take care of me when I had to find a hospital to get treatment after being bitten by a dog . Wijaya is very passionate about ensuring guests have a top quality experience!

This has been the best place my family and I have stayed while in Sri Lanka. Communication was easy. Sherine is responsive and accommodating to our needs. We felt safe while at the apartment. The front door has good locks and there is a gate and guard before entering the apartment complex. The apartment was clean and they left us some simple foods, drinks and supplies upon arrival. Check-in was simple and hassle free as there is a key box. The apartment area is beautiful and in a good location. We feel that the price we paid was a good deal for our stay and I would highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a place while they visit Sri Lanka to check out Sherine’s little place!

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. The location was ideal. close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Stay here if you: 1. Want a clean, well-equipped place to stay 2. Don't mind a few trains passing by during the day. It is not frequent and is a bit charming in its own small way. The trains are relatively small - 4-6 coaches 3. Want to have easy access to small shops, convenience stores, banks, bus stand. House is on the main road 4. Don't mind walking to the beach - barely 300m from the house Amila's place is clean, airy (large windows and big balcony), centrally located (by the main road) and spacious (good sized rooms, big hall and kitchen). The first floor portion where guests stay is recently built. All equipment were functional and clean. Kitchen was well-stocked in terms of cutlery / utensils. The host's mother is a lovely person and gifted us A LOT of home-grown bananas and some of her home made curry powder! It may be a small gesture to some guests, but shows her considerate nature. We had a good time here :)

Beautiful property. Henry has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years now and he has put all his experience in this villa. Great host. Very polite. Delicious food.

Chamila's apartment was perfect for our needs. It was close to the town and nearby our family's place. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Very good value for money. We would definitely stay again.
