We really enjoyed our stay at Sylvia's Zen House. We are regulars in Kakamega but the first time staying here. The amenities were as described and the house was tastefully decorated. We had the most completely furnished kitchen with everything we could need. The groundskeeper was very helpful when needed. We can highly recommend staying at this house. You will not be disappointed! Asante Sana Sylvia!

Our stay at Laween’s place was perfect for our time in Mumias. Edith our host was very friendly and welcoming. The place inside matched photos and the communication was awesome! They have chickens and a dog named Ray! Also 2 guard dogs that come out at night. We always felt very safe and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

I stayed for a week in one of Ruth's listings - it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a longer stay. Bungoma's best kept secret! Our stay at Geoffrey’s beautiful home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Geoffrey was incredibly responsive, ensuring that we were comfortable, cozy, and felt right at home throughout our mini-retreat. The home itself is stunning — the neatly manicured picket fence and lush, well-kept grass created a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that offered us the perfect mini-retreat we were looking for. A special mention to his amazing staff: Dalmas, the chef, who prepared delicious meals with such care, and Job, who was always on hand to assist and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Everything about our experience was warm, and easy. We truly couldn't have asked for more, and I highly recommend booking Geoffrey’s place if you're looking for a serene, well-cared-for home to relax and recharge. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at the Ligen was outstanding. Upon check-in showed the guard my confirmation of payment and they obliged. it would have helpful if they were expecting us but it was no problem at all. The unit was exactly as pictured. It was kept daily which was an added plus. Elizabeth was very attentive and we even got a chance to meet her. The washer is in a different unit but totally accessible and we were welcomed. This location was perfect for what we needed. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Kakamega. Highly recommend.
