Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Just a stone's throw from the glorious, white sandy, Ding Bay at the northern end of Langs Beach. Safe swimming, rock pools and endless beach activities. Unobstructed views out to the Hen and Chicken Islands and Sail Rock. A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Leave it all behind and unwind at this off grid eco-conscious glamping site overlooking peaceful native bush and farmland. Our north facing, sun soaked site is perfect for families, small groups and couples seeking a unique space for an escape. Totally off-grid, Arohanui offers campfires and tree swings, a beautiful open air cast iron bath and a cosy bedroom cabin with skylights for star gazing.

Harbourside Hideaway

Peaceful self contained 2 bedroom cottage 1.5hours from Auckland, overlooking the Kaipara Harbour. Lots of daytrips nearby (Kauri Museum, Pahi fig tree, Mangawhai beach, Te Arei Point) or just relax and enjoy the serenity, including the stars at night. All tide boatramp close by. We are onsite but will totally respect your privacy. Kaiwaka 4 square is your last shop. Come and enjoy your timeout!
