We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Moonrise was inspired by the movies of Wes Anderson. You will find it down a private country road in a garden filled with many birds who visit from the bush and nearby wetlands. At night the sky is full of stars. We have carefully crafted the cabins to provide a quirky off grid life and a tranquil experience where you can recharge in nature, read or play boardgames. The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Outside enjoy a huge wrap around deck, basketball court, outdoor shower, hidden patio with bush views and the peaceful sounds of nature. Packed away for your enjoyment are surfboards, bikes and more! We are 7acre bush block with 300 degree ocean and rural views. Modern house with 4 bedrooms and a separate cabin with a double bed and single bed with stunning views. Comfortable outdoor furniture to make the most of the views, weber BBQ and spa pool for outdoor living. The house has great Indoor outdoor flow. Heat pump for controlled heating summer and winter. 6 kms to restaurants,shops. Many good surf beaches near bye. Estuary for boating.

With a rural outlook that includes views of the Brynderwyn's, ducks, hens and cows, this studio is the perfect escape for couples or friends to enjoy what Mangawhai has to offer. Explore the local beaches, take a walk through beautiful forest to see waterfalls and swimming holes, or visit the local Saturday markets and great restaurants - all within an easy 10 minute drive.

Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
