Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Small house in the center of Volcán, fully furnished, equipped with a coffee machine so you can grind and brew your own cup of the local coffee. It has recliner seats for your comfort where you can enjoy the Roku app for either Netflix or the moviesanywhere app close to restaurants and the main supermarket Romero, climb the Barú Volcano, go to the nearby town of Cerro Punta famous for its "fresas con crema" or visit one of the local coffee farms where the world famous geisha coffee is produced.

The cottage is surrounded by abundant nature and gardens with many local plants and flowers. We are located at 4 minutes driving to downtown, where you can find parks, tours, hiking trails and excellent gastronomy. Upon request we can set you tours, private transfers, shuttles and catering service, before your arrival.

House is located in Bambito, 5 min from Volcán, 15 min from Cerro Punta, and 10 min from Parque Nacional Volcán Barú. Very close to the house are restaurants, supermarkets, gas stations, cafeterias and local business with strawberries and cream. Perfect for families and/or groups. Pet friendly with a beautiful and closed yard. Do not miss the great scenery this place offers.
