Sitting atop Stone Haven, a separate entrance leads upstairs to a charming sunny space filled with every creature comfort. The stone cottage sits on a hillside in North Heights, with a view of the Ozarks, in a quiet, well-established neighborhood just blocks from historic Route 66, Ozark Christian College and downtown Joplin. Here is also the site of the Bonnie and Clyde shootout, among other historic sights too numerous to mention. If you have a larger group, both flats together can sleep 8.
“Ким была отличным хозяином! Дом был очень чистым и тихим. Мы наслаждались каждым моментом нашего пребывания, определенно будем иметь в виду, когда в следующий раз будем в городе!”
This Airbnb is housed in one of Joplin's Historic Landmarks, the Frederick H. Rogers House, completed in 1905. Frederick H. Rogers was a mining entrepreneur during the peak of the lead and zinc mining era. He engaged Austin Allen, the most prominent architect of the era, to design the house to his specifications. The house features domed ceilings, hardwood floors laid in the log cabin design and imported wood trim. The Rogers family called the house home until 1917.
Modern feel home, with some inconspicuous antique touches and sporty flair. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood near both hospitals, KCUMB (5 min walk/less than 2 min drive), downtown, Downstream Casino, shopping/restaurants, parks, walking trails, Route 66, & I-44.
