Had a wonderful girls weekend on the lake. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. I would recommend this place to anyone! Jessica was a great host!

What an amazing place to stay! The scenery was breathtaking, the owners kind, and it was so peaceful. My 16 yr old got to pet horses and talk to cows, and my 5 yr old flew a kite and had plenty of space to run around. I definitely recommend staying here for any getaway and some fresh air!

We had a wonderful three night stay over Easter weekend. The house was beautiful, everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. The location is peaceful and beautiful. We drove less than 20 minutes to Danville where there were several very nice shops and restaurants as well as a great bakery. Hosts were extremely responsive and everything was as described.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and smelled good upon arrival. Beds were VERY comfortable and bedding super soft. The giant walk-in shower in the big bedroom was the bomb with the oversized shower head. We really liked the screened-in porch (with a tv!) The property was private and quiet. We are older folks who didn’t attempt the very steep stairs to the water, but the view was great from the deck. We enjoyed antique shopping in Danville and Harrodsburg. Cattleman’s, Drakes and the Red Rooster were all good restaurants. An over all great stay!

I would stay here again. The location is peaceful and private.

Great location for us! Beautiful view of lake. Our only issue was no bathroom on same floor as bedrooms so we slept on couch upstairs. Otherwise excellent little lake house! Easy directions to check in and out, clean on arrival! Thank you.

Great stay for a difficult time, we were in town for a funeral. However, being able to have our fur baby (dog) with us during a difficult time in a such a nice place with clean and comfortable amenities made everything better. The house was as described and clean, with a lot of attention to detail and if you're like me who notices everything and appreciates the little details you'll enjoy staying here. For example, fresh new paper towel roll out in packaging along with a new dish sponge, spices, kitchen utensils to cook with and nice toilet paper and Kleenex, not sandpaper. The other thing I really noticed is the home was clean, but did NOT smell like harsh cleaning chemicals or anything, it odor free and very nice. Also enjoyed sitting out on the patio, even in the rain. We would hands down stay at one of her properties if and when we return to the area, as Anessa was very responsive, kind and helpful. Her dedication and appreciation for her guests shows!

Great place for a quiet retreat. Simply beautiful with gorgeous views and light. Perfect place to spend time with a friend or loved one. Clean and fit description.

This cottage was a great spot. Very peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed being able to use the kayaks and cornhole. S’mores ingredients were also provided which was a big hit with the kids. Definitely a place we would return.

We loved staying at Spencer's place! It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway and had everything we needed. It was probably the best stocked place we ever stayed in! From utensils, pots and pans, seasonings, to coffee and coffee creamer, it had everything. The big porch overlooking the river with the nice hot tub for those cool fall evenings couldn't have been better. If we had anything to say that wasn't 100%, the shower water doesn't stay hot, every 2-3 minutes it would get cold for 30 seconds and then get hot again. We adjusted once we figured out it might just be that way but we wanted to give people a heads up. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and will probably come back the next time we are in town. Thanks for everything!
