התקשורת עם יעקב היתה נהדרת, תמיד זמין ותמיד מענה, הבית היה נקי ומאובזר היטב, הכל באיכות מצויינת ומאוד נהנינו, היו כמה דברים קטנים שצריך לשפר: היו חסרות קפסולות לקפה היתה רק מכונה ללא קפסולות והיתה נזילה מתחת לכיור, המרפסת הקטנה לא היתה כל כך נקיה, וההוראות לגבי מפתח בשבת לא היו נכונות כי מה שקורה בפועל לא תאם לסרטון שנשלח אלינו אבל זה מתגמד לעומת הדברים הטובים ואני בטוחה שיעקב יטפל גם בדברים שציינתי כאן

Nice sunny, spacious apartment with a big balcony in a decent area of Jerusalem and an amazing owner. Sarah helped us a lot, she is a very charming and kind hostess. There are two supermarkets nearby, bus stop is close to apartment. Internet connection is good. We had a good time in Jerusalem. Thank you Sarah!

The place was perfect for what we wanted. Shabbos Hanukkah near the old city with sleeping space for all of us (right). Parking was a little tricky but once understood is not a detractor- just be aware you can’t always leave your car right outside the place due to parking rules- but there are paid spots within a 3 minute walk. :

Wonderful experience for our family. Staying in this ancient, conveniently located, but sweetly tucked-away abode was a unique and precious travel back in time for us. Shlomo was amazingly accommodating, hospitable, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience a private, genuine Old City stay.

We just got back from our stay at Elisheva and Amir's apartment and it was perfect for us (two families with 3 children between us). Elisheva and Amir were very flexible and communicative. They were also gracious and immediately able to guide us when we blew a fuse the first night. The locations is very good -- if you cut through the parking lot the First Station is 5 minutes away. The proximity to Hebron road is also very handy for those with a car. Since we had 3 young children we drove to the Jaffa gate in less than 10 minutes and parked there all day for about $11 day. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. It is a family home, not a vacation rental, so it is "lived in." Be prepared to keep the kitchen kosher.

I had a fantastic week staying at Old City Home, located just minutes from the Damascus Gate in the heart of the Old City. The location couldn’t be better—everything you need is within walking distance. The house was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. It was the perfect way to immerse myself in the vibrant life of the Old City and get to know the people who work and live there. The tram stop just outside the Damascus Gate made it easy to explore the rest of the city as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this place!

Elisheva’s place is incredible if you’re looking to spend a meaningful time in the heart of Jerusalem’s Old City, with an authentic experience. The kotel is a five minute walk away, through the Arab shuk, the Churva shul is a three minute walk through the Jewish quarter. The place was spacious given the location. It’s not fancy or luxurious, but real life Old City living. The dining space was perfect for Shabbat meals as a family. Elisheva and her husband were very helpful and responded immediately to every inquiry. They were kind and patient.

Overall value is extraordinary. The amount of space (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, full bath), amenities (washing machine & dryer -- as well as stocked kitchen, TV cable) and location-- can't be beat! The living room is a comfy space to read or watch Netflix, Prime, etc.... There is all the hot water one could wish for (critical in winter in Jerusalem) and many plants and artwork that make it extra-homey. Though in the center of the city, it is both private and quiet. Easy to get around via public transport -- bus or light rail, but also walkable to anything one would need. Less than 15-min walk to Old City. Mamilla even closer. Mahane Yehuda is a short walk up the street the other way. Tons of restaurants, stores and artisans nearby. Daniel is an accommodating, welcoming and responsive host. I would book this place again in a heartbeat and sincerely hope I get to do so again soon.

From the moment we arrived, our host Ilana welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, treating us like family. Her generosity and helpfulness went above and beyond, making our stay even more special. The house itself is an absolute gem—cozy, beautifully decorated, and filled with positive energy. We left with not just wonderful memories of Jerusalem, but also with a feeling of deep gratitude for Ilana’s hospitality. This wasn’t just a rental; it was a touching and heartwarming experience we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommend!

Great balcony and beautiful home for hosting a big family. We really enjoyed the few hours we spent there. It was weird they had no mirrors and kept calling us to check in, over 6 times total.

Place is great location, half block from beach. Attached to a cool coffee bar and one of the more popular restaurants in town. Host was quick to answer any issues and even sent ice cream! Parking was cool, it comes up in an automated system. Would def stay here again!

We felt at home at Miri’s place, she is friendly, appartement is nice , view is stunning, she prepare water, fruit, coffee and juice wich are nice as we arrived late We will stay here again if possible

Wow, it was an amazing stay. A beautifully designed and surprisingly spacious apartment with high ceilings and many windows. The building itself is an old one, as most are in the neighborhood. No chic outside should be expected, - rather a multicultural cozy-small-city Israeli milieu. The location is perfect for shopping groceries and stuff, the bus and train stops are nearby, though we used our car. It's not easy to find a spare parking space close to the building, but it's possible. The beaches of Bat-Yam are just 20 minutes walk on a straight Rothschild str. The nearby bakery shop Lehem Hodaya is amazingly tasty, we even bought some with us when we left home. We loved it there and would love to come back.

Felt right at home at Amir’s apartment. Lots of space with a very large balcony to relax on in the morning. Was on a peaceful street but very close to the main streets with lots of restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed this neighborhood, it felt very friendly and family oriented. Apartment felt like an authentic experience for the city and good price for all the space you get with 2 full rooms plus kitchen. Would recommend and would stay again next time I come to Tel Aviv
