We had a great stay. Host met us at the door and showed us around. We two adults, two kids, and a dog and we had room to spare. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy street parking right in front, and though no washer the laundromat was right across the street. Easy walk to cute downtown and the river too. Michael was very communicative and made sure we had a great time. For sure would stay again.

Jamie’s place was easy to find, the check in process was smooth. The space was extremely clean. Even though it had just snowed a ton the driveway was plowed and walkway shoveled. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Great find!

Stayed here for a weekend trip with my husband and our pup. This place is beautiful right on the lake and has literally everything you’d ever need! Very open and cute, the king size bed was to die for. We had a rainy weekend but I enjoyed reading by the fireplaces and did enjoy the back deck on one night. Not far from anything you might need otherwise! We’d love to stay again!

I can’t express how amazing this place was. There were signs made up all around the house to answer any questions you may have. I reached out to our hosts mid stay and got a response immediately. They even reached out to give us a heads up about possible power outages (we did not lose power). But I truly appreciated them reaching out as we were out at a wedding.

Shawn was a great host, he checked on us at our arrival. A group of us went up snowmobiling for 3 days. Trail access was right off the property. We experienced very harsh weather durning our stay, Shawn coordinated his snowplow guy to help plow us out a few times during our stay, spot on. Shawn truly cared for his guests and showed his concerns and made the effort to make sure we were safe. Highly recommended. Not only a great host but also a great person. Thank you Shawn, RS

Lorrie was extremely responsive and friendly. She gave us easy instructions for check in and check out. Her kitchen came with all the essentials you'll need to cook a meal. The only thing we needed to bring were towels for showering. The house is older with charm galore, it is not a hotel room it is a home with personality. Being near water expect some bugs, we dealt with some flies, but a fly swatter was provided. We loved that all the bedrooms had a/c units and the private dock across the street was perfect to sit by in the morning and OMG the sunsets! It was a perfect vacation spot that housed my large family. While the tap water is safe to drink we bought a case of water bottles as we didn't like the taste of the water.

First time Airbnb user. What a GREAT place and experience! I was very nervous about the whole process. The owners put all that to rest quickly. Answered all questions faster than I expected. Provided detailed instructions, Harbor House is right on the water literally floating, with a great view of the river. It was very clean, and ready early for our visit. Our fall visit was only 3 days but we all absolutely enjoyed it. The kitchen, furniture, beds with linens, bathrooms with towels all were perfect. Parking was good as well. Evenings were spent on the porch talking, and of course, enjoying cocktails. Given it was October, we even had perfect weather, close to 70. The great weather was compliments of the owners at no charge. What a GREAT STAY! I would absolutely recommend this place.

We stayed here 1 night with our dogs and loved it! The property is beautiful and right along the water. Canoes and kayaks were right next to our rental which was awesome. The town with a bunch of restaurants is only 5 min away. We will definitely be back!!

Such a fabulous place to stay. The property is amazing and every cottage has all the amenities of home!

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

Needing an accommodation for work or vacation? This is your place. Full kitchen with utensils, two big bedrooms, homey living room, and full bathroom to make your stay feel comforting. Kara is very responsive and will problem solve if need be. Close location to Ft. Drum and the highway so commuting is a breeze. During my stay, there was a lot of snow and it was cleared before my early wake up time. Plenty of space to park. Would 100% stay here again!

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

Beautiful place, had an ice storm while there which was beautiful on the trees. NY does a great job on maintaining the roads so we weren’t held up at all..we were in town for a family funeral so didn’t do anything extra this trip. Nice place to retreat to after the long day.

Laurel was an amazing host! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly responsive throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness really stood out—she even offered us a late checkout, which we truly appreciated. The peaceful surroundings and little touches made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here—we’d definitely love to come back!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!
