A cozy, private cabin sitting on top of the hill overlooking the beautiful Minnesota River Valley. Start your evening with the grill lit and a cold beer in hand. Enjoy the peaceful sound of nature while sitting on the patio with the warmth of the campfire, the sweet smell of s'mores, and a sky full of bright stars. Or take the opportunity to stay indoors in the heated/air conditioned garage and start your own pool tournament. *This sits on our active cattle ranch, the driveway is shared by us.

Redshed Inn

Relax when you stay in our quiet country get-a-way. We are an easy 25 miles or less from Okoboji, Spencer, Worthington, Sibley, and Sheldon. There’s a firepit ready for use, firewood, grilling grate, roasting sticks and a gas grill. Our Redshed's upper deck is your private vantage point to enjoy trees, birds and unlimited star gazing. You will certainly see deer as they cross the valley and we enjoy frequent bald eagle sightings. Outdoor areas have comfortable chairs waiting for you.

Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

This Lake House boasts TWO 3-season rooms, an open concept with so many great views of the lake. Newly renovated, yet loads of charm and wonderfully decorated. Come relax and have a blast while you play games, read books, let the kids play with toys, or snuggle up and watch your favorite show. There is even a Sauna which might be just what you need.

Welcome to a backyard getaway that will drop your mouth in awe. Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Spacious lake home on 2.5 acres. Enjoy the peacefulness of this hidden gem surrounded by big oak trees and amazing lake views. This home nestled in the woods is newly remodeled. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, along with 1.5 baths. There is a full bathroom downstairs. Internet is fast and suitable for those who work from home. There are 3 tv’s in the home. Outside you will find a seating area with a fire pit, as well as 2 kayaks and SUP for your use. Plenty of outdoor activities!

The home can sleep 8 adults very comfortably, but the nightly pricing is set for two occupants and additional guests are $30 per person. This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.

This place is located downtown, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and parks.

City of Lakes Loft

Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! Cleaning fee included in the nightly rate.
