Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

The Red Cabin is newly constructed & completely furnished with everything you need for the Perfect Get-a-Way! Beautiful Southwestern Decor, fully equipt kitchen inside and an outside gas grill with seating area and also a wonderful fire pit! Big yard with lots of wildlife! Lots of parking and room for trailers. Paved road all the way to cabin.

Situated on 5 acres high in the Ozarks, the house is much larger than it looks from the picture, with a large front porch and west-facing rear deck overlooking a pond and splendid sunsets. Only a few miles from the Buffalo River and hiking trails, half a mile from Cliff House Restaurant and five miles south of the quaint town of Jasper. Conveniently located on Hwy 7, Big Oak is a place of quiet Ozark peace.

Extremely accessible for motorcyclists; it sits right on Highway 74E! Great for church retreats - you will feel like you have stepped back in time when seeing the original log walls, yet have all the modern-day amenities that will be part of your stay. (No animals allowed).

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Lost Valley and beyond, the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind!
