Overall, I was very happy with my stay. Elvis is a great host and did so much for us while we were there. It felt like having our own personal guide & cook the whole time we were there. Elvis gave us recommendations of places to go, cooked authentic food for our whole group twice a day (7 people), and took us around Negril to the beach & supermarket when we needed. Seriously, he's really great and elevated this AirBnb from mediocre to amazing. The accommodations themselves are pretty basic (no hot water, no AC, yes fridge, yes fan), but they're roomy and don't have any glaring problems. The only thing I disliked was the loud bar across the street, but even they were willing to turn off the music at a reasonable hour most nights. Also there are some annoying roosters in the neighborhood that make noise early in the morning, but what can you do. It's still Jamaica haha. You can walk 5 minutes to catch a taxi or have Elvis take you places in Negril.

This place is literally a huge slice of heaven nestled here! We were mesmerized from the moment we came through the gates. First of all…the hosts were so amazing! They were very warm and welcoming. We immediately felt like family as soon as we came there. The cottage was well appointed. We kept seeing a different special touch over and over again. I absolutely loved the decor! The artwork and the details that went into everything was impeccable. Even the shower curtain was unique. We were outside at night with a drink and listened to the birds chirping and the nice fresh breeze drifting by us in our cozy chairs and snuggly blankets. The food! Heavenly! Everything they prepared was home grown on the farm there. We had 2 dinners. The first night we had the most amazing fish with rice, veggies and some lemongrass tea. The second night we had some calaloo, okra, salt fish and sorrel. When dessert came we wanted to move in! I extended my stay! Definitely family atmosphere! We’ll be back!

Cottage Blu is a quaint cabin set in the peaceful valley of the Blue Mountains. The surrounding nature is breathtaking with morning glimpses of the Blue Mountain and the river providing a calming background hum. ⛰️ The space was great for my parents and myself, especially with the hammock and tables outside so we could each have our own space. The kitchen has all the basic utensils, plates, and pots and pans. I was glad that I brought some specific kitchen items with me to bake a cake. Jahope, Dale’s brother, was a wonderful guide and naturalist, he showed us all of the plants in the area! 🌿 If you travel here, I recommend using Apple Maps, NOT Google maps as it does not have all the roads. As we got closer to the cabin, we looked across the ravine to see our cabin and asked a very friendly local for more directions. Keep going and there will be more signs along the way! We would recommend having an 4wd vehicle for the trek 🚘 10/10 we would recommend this place and would return!

Everything was amazing! Cleveland and Janet are outstanding hosts, both very friendly and genuine people. Cleveland offers rides for a very reasonable fees and had great suggestions for things to do in the area. The area is gorgeous and as a solo female traveller I can’t recommend this area enough in terms of safety. The locals are chatty but always kind. This is totally beyond the hosts control but the area isn’t super quiet at night with bars playing music until around 11 to midnight and animals in the area, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest earplugs :) overall it didn’t have a negative impact on my stay because it just felt like part of the flavour of the area. The value was amazing, the cabin is simple, clean, and beautiful, it’s a perfect spot for those looking to slow down and to get to know a beautiful part of Jamaica with a vibrant culture.

We travelled for our anniversary and safe to say that we were truly spoilt! The accommodation and hospitality was above and beyond. They were very helpful with recommendations of activities to do as well as booking them including a taxi service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

We’re return guests at Oneil’s and recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys a natural rustic setting that is still close to everything in Port Antonio!

Amazing place to stay! I absolutely loved how unique this place was and loved the pool. it was also very comfortable and private with great airflow. It was difficult to find and the road to get there is steep and rough, but most vehicles can do it. I would still 100% stay here again!

Great place with a great location. The Host Kevin, was very responsive and helpful. If you decide to stay here just know that it does give a cabin vibe , the windows stay open but you can close them with wooden blinds and there is a screen stopping bugs from coming in but you can still get that wind blowing through for that cabin experience. A/C was also available. And it gets real cold. There were also coconuts dropping on the roof lol , the real island experience . It did not bother us at all. There is a washer and dryer down below, we were able to wash our towels no problem. There was only one thing that kind of worried us was the smoke . There was a fire somewhere nearby and all the smoke had gotten into the room, and ash into the pool, and the smell lingered during the night . But I’m sure this isn’t a regular occurrence and is out of the control of the host . We spoke to tenants there and they told us it didn’t usually happen. Thank you Kevin for the amazing stay in Jamaica.

Dexton, the on site host, was super helpful, friendly, and always available. He arranged an airport pickup, cooked amazing traditional Jamaican meals, and was a source of local knowledge. The room was clean and comfortable. The high point for me was the elevated terrace. It was like living in a jungle tree house. The location is in a residential neighborhood, away from the hustle of downtown Negril. However transportation is required to get back and forth to town. It was a wonderful experience, and a good value. Highly recommended! Thanks Dexton!

Kiara wurde von Radicia und Renaldo vertreten. Wir wurden privat abgeholt und zu unseren Ausflugszielen gefahren. Pünktlich und unglaublich freundlich. Wir wurden super und abwechslungsreich bekocht und haben viel über Land und Leute gelernt. Traumhafter Aufenthalt.

It was an amazing place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, it was even better in person… a cabin in the mountains, with two balconies and panoramic views of the jungle and ocean. The location is a 15 minute drive into downtown Port Antonio, and literally less than a 5 minute drive to the Blue Lagoon, Frenchman’s Cove, and Boston Beach. I’d recommend renting a car or hiring a driver, as the cabin is very high in the hills and not walkable. But it’s only about a 5 minute drive to the main road; some of the roads are gravel, but we were fine in a 2-way drive vehicle. Added bonus: friendly dogs and cats on the property to keep you company.

Pappa Curvin and Mama Joan are wonderful hosts. They were super friendly and welcoming and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to go around the area. The cottage is very charming and comfortable. Highly recommend!

This place was exactly what I expected. This has easily become one of my favorite places to stay when traveling to Montego Bay. The personalized board up on entry was surprised and well received. 😊

This place is awesome! Such a lovely cottage and the property is beautiful. Big trees, beautiful plants, a pool, kitchen, hangout area. The cabin has privacy while still having access to all the amenities. Negril is so fun and this area is great because it’s laid-back. You’re right across from Ricks cafe and lots of delicious local spots to eat. We loved it here and extended our stay, thank you Jordan! We hope to come back!
