A home away from home with a great view, wonderful kitchen and the comforts of home. Stefan is a great host, very friendly and responsive. Helped with local recommendations. You can’t beat this place. The view of the fjord, mountains, and harbor are unbeatable.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ocean Lair 2 and were able to relax as a family with 2 children. Amazing area that we would like to revisit. Well stocked and looked after. Enjoyed reading through the visitors book. Thanks.

This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

We had a comfortable stay here, although we wished the bathroom light was not motion sensored since it turned on even when just passing by the bathroom. Overall, we liked the location, and our host gave us helpful instructions.

Beautiful little apartment, excellent location, very clean and organized. Great location; lots of places to go hiking/running/biking nearby. If it is open for your visit, go check out Tjoruhusid, excellent fish restaurant.

The location is amazing.. we had views of Kirkjufell from our room.. there are friendly dogs that our kids enjoyed playing with.. the hosts were also amazing

Olafur was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment is beautiful and clean, with good strong warm shower and well-equipped kitchen. Wifi connection is also strong. Feels like home away from home. Very spacious for 2 persons. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay and it was very cosy. Highly recommended. :)

Marta was a wonderful hostess. Very friendly. Invited us for coffee both mornings at her cafe. She showed us on a map of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula where to go, what to do, what to see, etc. She looked up restaurants and told us the hours they were open. She messaged our first night that there was an awesome Aurora out about 9:30 PM. Unfortunately we had just gone to bed and didn't get it until the next morning. (We were at the end of a long day following a night flight that arrived at 6 AM with little sleep on the plane.) She also told us there was a free Latin dance class that night at the community center within walking distance. We went and had a great time! The shower faucet was tricky at first until I figured out how it worked. (Right side controlled water temperature. Left side turned it on.) I'm used to right being cold and left being hot. All we did both nights was sleep. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well! Thank you, Marta, for your hospitality!

Our stay at the flat was very enjoyable. The location next to the city center is perfect and easy to find. The checkin was very easy and Greipur was so helpful and always quick to answer questions. Everything was clean and as described in the profile. We felt like being invited into an authentic home and loved the history of the house as well as the city of Isafjördur.

Warm, quiet, comfortable studio apartment over looking the western fjords. I very much enjoyed my stay here and the place was in a beautiful (albeit isolated) location. There's a petrol pump and small store in the village and a very slightly larger store and another petrol station in Holmavik nearby. If you're into hot tubs they have some overlooking the fjord near the entrance to the village which are for public use. All in all, I'd highly recommend Sunna's place and the location.

We stayed for one night and it was a perfect location for us, we were able to cook our own meals in the kitchen and had the room as our quite place. There was no problem using the kitchen wirh all the other guests

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and looked even nicer than on the photos. The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the most beautiful parts of the Westfjords!

Kristin’s apartment was one of our favorite places while touring Iceland. Very peaceful, serene, and quiet. We really enjoyed the view to the harbor. The apartment was clean, neat, and clutter free. Kristin was responsive and courteous. Would love to stay there again!

A very cosy, old, but clean cabin with all the essentials. Perfect for a shorter stay for me and my two friends while we explored some parts of the Westfjords. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom windows had blinds, which offered some good night’s sleep after spending the days out in nature.

Room was clean and tidy, and was quiet enough to have a good rest. Seems like there are always events going on so great opportunities to meet other travellers! Would recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Inga's place. The apartment is in a great location with fantastic views of the ocean. Host showed us the apartment and personally checked us in. Host has a lovely personality. We felt totally at home and had a nice relaxing sleep. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and rooms were clean. We would totally recommend this location as well as would love to stay here again!
