This was a wonderful house in a very peaceful area. Everything was exactly as described, and Chad reached out to me the morning of our arrival to make sure we had what we needed to get there and get in. Very happy with our stay!

Perfect for family getaway Very clean and well stocked. Beautiful lake with plenty of privacy but only few minutes from groceries and restaurants. Wonderful seeing all the wildlife; loons, bald eagles, turkey and deer. Screened in porch and sun room were perfect to take in the lake scenery with a morning coffee. Kayaks, paddle boat and row boat all in great shape and easy to use. Cell service is spotty but wifi is excellent. Host is nice and easy to contact.

Randy’s place is easily a five at that price with certain caveats. Those being this, be prepared for no wi-fi and not much in the way of TV. The dvd player did not work. They looked at it and apologized, but that doesn’t fill the time for movie buff kids. Furthermore iron river lacks for stores that sell those things, and well lacks overall. That’s not Randy’s fault obviously, but Iron River isn’t much to get excited about. Ski brule is awesome and this was a great place to stay for that if paying a lot of fro ski brule lodging (which isn’t so awesome) overall great place. Just keep those things in mind. From what I can tell their Airbnb is more for the outdoor (snowmobile/atv) crowd.

My friends and I stayed here for two nights for a ski trip. It was an awesome trip and the host is very nice and easy to talk to!

A perfect location for our ski race weekend at Ski Brule. We loved being able to walk right across the street to the hill. We also enjoyed the fireplace after skiing and it was wonderful having a kitchen to cook our own meals. We would definitely stay again!

I was flying solo, but I could imagine this cottage being perfect for a family of 4. Nice balcony facing the lake (sunset). A grill at the ready. 100 feet from its own pier. A few short yards to the roped off swim area. Stanley Lake is crystal clear. The shoreline and swim area are completely weed free, unlike many other lakes in the area. Great swimming for the kids. inside is a cool wood burning stove that is gas fired and looks better than wood burning. It's the main heat for the cabin, so it's controlled by a thermostat. the bedrooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. No problem sleeping there. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen, and fully equipped with everything you'll need. 10 mins from iron river, so groceries and supplies are a breeze. I have t-mobile, which has zero signal, so I paired my phone with the wifi and was back in business. nice tv with plenty of viewing options, and several games if the weather isn't cooperating. Great Place for solo or family of 4

I was in the U.P for a week long fishing trip. This nice quiet cabin right on the lake was perfect for where I was looking to stay for the week. Cabin had all the amenity’s of home while still being submersed in nature. Just a quick drive into town was also very convenient. Donald was very responsive and answered all my questions right away. I would absolutely stay in this cabin again on my next trip.

Beautiful location, clean and accommodating- highly recommend.

The home is beautiful! We stayed with another family and it was a perfect fit for all of us. We went skiing at Ski Brule which was about 25 minutes away. It was nice that a grill was provided. After a long day of skiing and supper, no one stayed up too late. The only thing missing according to the kids, was a hot tub on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you!!

This is a very cozy cabin with access to lots of beautiful hiking. Super close to town with a large grocery store that has anything you need. The hosts were super accommodating and great communicators.
