We had a lovely stay at the Tree of Life River Retreat! It was very peaceful and scenic. We loved the amount of movies there was to choose from.

This was a great place to stay! I'd say it's one of my favorite. We were only there for one night, wish we would've had more time. Not only was it a great place to stay, but the town was great as well. We will be planning a trip back sooner than later and will stay here again!

My boyfriend and I went to Decorah for a weekend to reconnect with our college town. Morning Glory’s house/apartment provided a nice, comfortable space for us to relax between activities throughout the day! The locks in the house were a bit confusing at first, but we were able to learn quick. The space was clean, comfortable, and had nice touches such as the towels out in the own, and blankets in the common area to cuddle up with. Our favorite part of the apartment/house was the location. Most of our actives were in the downtown area and this place was right in the middle. It’s offset enough so that it’s quiet and private, but close enough that any restaurant or bar was only a 10-15min walk away. Overall a nice find!

We had stayed here a couple of years ago for our daughter's birthday. This year we were thrilled to see it was available again! the only thing we were disappointed about was the construction of the boathouse which we weren't aware of until we got there. Otherwise it was a great overnight stay and will always recommend others to stay here!

We stayed at Ben and Kim's while attending Nordic Fest, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed -- a "base camp" for entire days spent in Decorah itself. It was a beautiful, quiet country getaway with outdoor cats and a dog to welcome us (and make us miss our own pets a little less). Comfortably slept three of us, although as I mentioned we didn't spend a ton of time at the residence. It was super-easy to communicate with Ben and Kim, both in advance and during the trip, and checkout was a piece of cake.

We are repeat customers and can always depend on Julie for a clean space to stay during our work trips. Our team always request staying at Julies and we look forward to our next trip.

Tyler is a wonderful host, and he was very helpful whenever we needed something. Great space and amenities as well.

Hannah's place is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The furnishings are comfortable and charming, and we loved our surroundings. The sauna was a special treat! We will definitely book a return visit.

Very comfortable sweet place. The privacy is the best, knowing that they live upstairs but it’s so quiet and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The little private patio was one of my favorite things there it was a bit cold when I went out to Iowa but the little fire in the patio was 100% amazing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone going out to Iowa. Anna was so respectful and helpful there was a point where I couldn’t get in because I accidentally locked it the wrong way and she was so quick and responsive to help me out!

Worth it for the price and location. The place was a little shabby (mainly the carpet looked dirty and dusty). Also the bedside table fell apart quite easily, and the shower curtain had yellow stains in the edges. But for the price and the location and the well kept hot tub I cannot complain. If you like things a little neat and clean, it might bother you that's all. They had cleaning supplies so I did wipe all surfaces down as much as I could.

We were so comfortable in Olivia's space. There were so many books to look at. She thoughtfully had snacks and a few eggs, making our morning so pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for us while visiting the grandparents/great grandparents. You can tell Theo and Teri really care about their guests. We will definitely stay again when we're in town next.

Just exactly what was needed for long days at work

Nathanial and Ali were so nice to host me on short notice. Their place was so homey, clean, cozy and the bed was so comfortable! It was very, very quiet (with the exception of some birds chirping away 💜) and relaxing. Just what I needed, thanks so much!!

Loved the treats that were left for us . Kelsey also brought me more sweets for Easter !! Which she makes !! My pups enjoyed all the bunnies around the area . Very comfortable for the 2 weeks I was there. Close to restaurants, Target , tjmax , Walmart , gas stations, interstate. Would stay here again !!

The Rustic Acres property is just minutes outside of Decorah tucked away in a heavily wooded area with a small spring waterfall off the upstairs master, a stream winding through the property and impressive rock formations. There is a TV...I'm not sure if it works because I spent all of my time soaking in the beauty and relaxing in from of the wood burning fireplace in the living room. The feel inside is quaint and cozy, but with plenty of floor space and all the amenities for comfortability. I plan on booking again around the same time in Fall next year!

I stayed here one night while hiking the Wabash Trace trail. The little bunkhouse was just as described - pretty small but didn’t really feel like it. It had everything you need to feel cozy and comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and responsive, and the area was so peaceful. Highly recommended!

This place offers a beautiful, quiet, cleanly setting and space. The beds were comfortable. A well equipped game room. Fun for all ages!

Trina was faced with a lot going in her life. The cleaning crew let her down before we arrived. She had to take steps to make it right. It is a a high value place.

While I understand this may not be the easiest place to find, I felt that George's thorough directions and instructions made all the difference. I was able to find it just fine upon arriving after sundown! Place was clean and perfect for what I needed - added bonus of the location was being so close to Hickory Hill Park for beautiful morning trail runs!
