Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

We are also a 25 minute drive from Inverness. This brand new dog friendly (maximum 2 dogs) location with outdoor space has quiet forestry walks on the doorstep.

The Old Schoolhouse

Starting life as the school for the few local children back in the early 20th Century, the Old Schoolhouse was converted into a modest family home by our grandparents in 1962. They lived in this remote and beautiful part of Scotland during the spring and summer months and we would visit them every year in our school holidays. We have the best memories of our times spent at the Old Schoolhouse, it truly is a magical place and one we hope to now be able to share with others.

Comfortable, warm, centrally located, modern adaptation providing all requirements for a unique stay amongst the beauty of central Sutherland. The Smiddy Pod sleeps 2 people + 1 child (sofa bed) on a self catering basis. situated at Rosskeen, Invergordon just seconds from the A9 in a lovely rural setting with views over open land to the port of Invergordon and the Black Isle. It is the perfect base to access the world famous NC500 and the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. Built to a high specification, our Pod offers comfortable, spacious accommodation. Sorry - no pets non smoking .

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.
