The Coach House is a cosy attic retreat above the old stables. Up the slate steps and through the traditional wooden door to find exposed oak beams, a king-size bed, kitchenette, dining area and shower room. The perfect base for a peaceful stay before exploring Exmoor and the beautiful North Devon coast. You can see the surf at Saunton and all the best North Devon beaches are handy. Fenced dog friendly garden with a sunny dining terrace, lawn and a mud room with a shower, for dogs, bikes or wet suits. Our lovely village of West Down is less than a mile away, with The Crown pub, community shop and park. Check in or out times can be flexible, please ask.

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.
