We had a wonderful stay at the lodge in Holsworthy. The location was peaceful and idyllic, offering stunning views and just a short drive from Bude. The lodge itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming. Gillian, our host, was brilliant—friendly and attentive, she met us on arrival and had even kindly provided a few essentials to eat, which was a lovely touch. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a tranquil setting.

Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

Great few days in one of the lodges. The place was warm and cosy (even in January!). Lovely grounds and opportunity for walks. Freedom for dogs to run around. Pool was a highlight, heated appropriately so one could enjoy the swim. Hot tub and sauna were also great. Thank you!

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at Willow Lodge, Emma was a great host and very helpful. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed, the Hot Tub was much appreciated after a long walk on Dartmoor. Kingslakes is very dog friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the on-site restaurant/bar. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

A Hidden Gem Amongst the Trees My partner and I recently had the pleasure of spending two wonderfully peaceful days at The Hide , and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nestled amongst the trees, the location is incredibly serene, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We enjoyed lovely walks in the surrounding area, each one offering a chance to fully immerse ourselves in nature’s tranquility. The cabin itself is the perfect combination of comfort and charm, offering a cosy and welcoming space to relax. We felt completely at home and appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. The attention to detail really makes this place stand out. Whether you're looking to unwind, explore local walks, or simply relax in a stunning natural setting, The Hide is a true retreat. We can’t wait to return!

What an amazing place - everything is as described on the listing. Nathan was super helpful, informative and talked us through how to use everything in the cabin and get the hot tub up to temperature. We did the circular walk mentioned - it’s a good 3 miler with enough up downs to make your pint/s at the half way point well earned! We were blessed with beautiful weather, but imagine on a stormy day it would be just as lovely - all hunkered down inside listening to some old school vinyl.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wootten Deer Park and Safari Lodges. The lodge was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a comfortable family break. The setting is what really makes it – peaceful, scenic and with the most incredible views of the deer, which made it feel really special. Kylie was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful and clearly cares a lot about making sure guests have a great experience. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and already thinking about when we can come back.

Logement parfait ! D’abord sa situation : Très bien situé ; proche de bons pubs , départ de nombreux sentiers de randonnée et de lieux à visiter . Ensuite , ce lieu est extraordinaire ! Au calme avec une vue à couper le souffle. La décoration est parfaite , un vrai cocon , on s’y sent très bien. Cet endroit est très apaisant . La cheminée accentue cet apaisement. Je terminerai mon commentaire par l’accueil de notre hôte , très gentille , très réactive . Nous avons pu aller cueillir des légumes de la ferme et acheter de la viande de la ferme durant notre séjour . Ce logement vaut son statut de « perle rare ».

Beautiful stay in a beautiful place. We stayed in Alexa's cabin for a week and used it as a base for exploring Cornwall and North Devon. The cabin is lovely and well equipped. It was clean, tidy, fresh and comfortable. Alexa is a great host and provided really helpful instructions for finding and accessing the cabin, as well as using the shower, hot water, etc. The rooms are lovely and our puppy was right at home, too. The view from the cabin is excellent and it's a very peaceful setting. There are great beaches nearby and there's lots to see in the area but it's also lovely to come back and watch the sun set over those amazing satellite dishes. Thank you so much. We hope to come back!

We have had a lovely break away at Brad's Lodge. Very quiet location. Accommodation faultless, hot tub was a pleasant bonus, the kitchen had all equipment you need to serve decent sized meals (we were a party of 6). Just to let others know, it is an isolated location and you definitely need to drive to get to anyway. But this is not a negative, and it is perfectly placed for you to explore all the gems Cornwall has to offer. Highly recommend the Bay View Inn for a meal after a nice trip to Widemouth Bay. We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The location could not be better! Beds were very comfortable and the cabin clean and homely, with a well equipped kitchen. Commutation with Rachel and Jim was easy. They provided lots of useful information for the local area, although the weather was so great we just stayed on the beach, which is beautiful. We had two small children with us (ages 5&1) and the space for perfect for them. Highly recommended.

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay in the pod. It’s in a beautiful location, overlooking the sea and rolling hills. The pod is well equipped despite it being small and cosy! It’s close to local beaches and good walking trails. Exmoor National Park is only a short car journey away - highly recommend the Heddon’s Mouth Circular Trail for a relaxed but scenic walk. A big thank you to John who was a great host - really speedy responses, good recommendations and even left us some scones on arrival!

I had such a friendly welcome from Rachel, with everything that I needed set up and ready to go. And even though the pod felt very private, and away from it all, I also felt very safe, especially as I was alone. Incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a break away from the real world.

Cosy place and a perfect base for two people after a long day walking

Not luxury but perfect for an overnight stop and everything was exactly as described hence worth the five stars. Delighted to meet the cat.

Paula was fantastic, we got picked up at the local station, Paula was very thorough of local amenities and local history which was excellent to know! she made sure everything was comfortable as possible. I thank them both as My partner had an excellent 30th Birthday.

Lovely place in a great location. It is a brilliant spot for a romantic getaway and would highly recommend. The cabin itself is very clean and has all the amenities you could require. Hot tub is very nice and overall would definitely go again.
