Chão da Mina is located close to the charming village of São Miguel d'Acha (bakery, café, and restaurant). Historic villages and towns such as Monsanto, Idanha-a-Velha, Sortelha, Castelo Branco, and Covilhã are within driving distance, as are the Serra da Estrela, Serra da Malcata, and Naturtejo Geopark.

Welcome to Casa Laura João, named in honor of my grandparents, who lived right across the street. During my childhood, I spent my summer vacations here, and our family would gather in Monsanto to celebrate Christmas. I created this space to share my love for the village and keep my family's history alive. I value your complete privacy, which is why we use a self-check-in system. This way, you have the freedom to arrive at your own pace and enjoy the house with total independence.

The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heat of summer and the cold of winter: two areas for outdoor eating, a 3m wide plunge pool, fully equipped kitchen, large living room and many reading and play areas. The garden is large and has shady and sunny areas, a corner with aromatic herbs, citrus trees. The heating and cooling system will guarantee thermal comfort all year round. You can charge your electrical vehicle for 15€ per stay and car.

Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)
