Positioned between two major towns in the South of Iceland, this cottage offers a convenient yet secluded base for exploring the region's natural attractions.

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. Looking forward meeting you here and sharing our tips on discovering beautiful East.

The Shed, country atmosphere

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

This is a cozy private cabin in the backyard of a working farm. You will have everything you need for a perfect base to explore the wonders of south coast of Iceland. All the ,,must see" in Iceland is within 3 hours drive from us and a lot of local and traditional restaurants in the neighborhood From here you can see Eyjafjallajokull, Thorsmork, Vestmannaeyjar, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Reynisfjara, Vik, Skaftafell, Jokulsarlon and the Golden sircle only one and a half hour drive

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

Beautiful Cottage at Kaldá Lyngholt 2

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

We invite you to our log cottage with veranda in the middle of an unspoiled nature. From the cottage you have a magnificent view of the mountains, the horses of the farm and the vastness of the landscape. You can take short or long walks and go in every direction without any human disturbance or traffic. A perfect place for people who want to experience nature, silence and space.

Nice Cabin 45 min from Reykjavik - Golden Circle.

Beautiful cabin in the South of Iceland. If you want to relax and enjoy the nature this is excellent choice. The Cabin is located at Litli Háls farm only 45 minutes from Reykjavik and 15 minutes from Selfoss. The scenery is so beautiful around the cabin, walking paths in the area and all around.

Black Beach Aurora Dome

Experience unparalleled luxury and comfort at a black sand beach with beautiful views all around. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in our shared service house on the property, about 200m from the dome, as well as toilet cabins in a short walking distance from the dome.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Here you can enjoy the nature and relax. Here there is little traffic, cute horses all around and birdlife. Perfect place to see the northern lights in the winter.
