About us The Building has just finished a 2.5 year renovation, it has been brought to life as an Art Deco Inspired Motel. We have reconfigured the old 22 room Motel into 7 Boutique Apartments, the rooms have been fully renovated in tastefully art Décor style reflecting the period & history of The Star. All rooms have Modern facilities with Tea & Coffee Making Facilities. Apartments 1 & 7 have a full self-contained Kitchens Each Room consists of separate Bedroom with Queen Bed/ Separate Bathroom/ Separate Lounge Dinning. They range in sizes & Colour Palate, from 48¿ to 98.5¿ with most Apartments in 60¿+, so very spacious, perfect to unwind & relax.

This gorgeous property is set well back from the road on 20 acres of manicured gardens with roses, dams, vineyard, kangaroos, resident wombat & central to all that Pokolbin &the wine region has to offer. Many of the best restaurants, wineries and breweries are within walking distance. This queen hotel style room is located in the main guesthouse and has a large private bathroom, bar fridge, tea /coffee making facilities and access to shared spaces including fire pit, BBQ, Pavilion, pool & more.

Hamilton railway station is an easy 7 minutes walk and the nearest pub, with tasty meals, is a few doors away. Newcastle has lots to offer from theatres and galleries to world class beaches.

The Mansion - Queen Room 2

Soak in the charm of over a century of history in this imposing mansion overlooking beautiful Wickham park. Room 10

A spacious heritage room with a huge private ensuite. It is a popular room because of the size and view of the garden. We offer a complimentary continental breakfast to all our guests. Tea, coffee and a microwave and fridge are available in the upstairs tea and coffee nook, which is adjacent to the TV room. All rooms have access to the Grand Victoria Room freshly painted refurbished with antiques. Restaurant/Bar open Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

Budget Twin Share has two single beds.

Dungog is the gateway to the beautiful Barrington Tops. The Bank Hotel is a traditional country pub with delicious counter meals and icy cold beer. We have entertainment most Friday nights. Our budget twin room has two single beds, TV and sink with hot and cold taps. The bathroom facilities and tea and coffee are shared. You can also help yourself to a complimentary continental breakfast.

The Mansion - Loft Room 4

Loft room in The Mansion, A beautiful old building full of charm. The room is for the more adventurous group or person as it is up a stare-case and through a trap door, the beds are built into the ceiling so not recommended for anyone with a bad back or poor manoeuvrability as there is a slight climb up.
