John's place has a beautiful view of the lake with nice porches to hang out. The house is decorated with unique items that are interesting to look at. I was able to relax and unwind. He is a very responsive host and I look forward to returning.

Had a wonderful stay yet again! I've been here a few months and thankful Doug's home has been available for my long stay. Feels like home.

Our stay at Pecan Acres was excellent. From the friendly and kind communications, to being welcomed after a long day of travel with a warm and cozy home, we truly enjoyed our stay. The home is well-appointed with many thoughtful touches to make you feel comfortable and at home. The peach jam and pickles… scrumptious! We hope to return for another stay soon!

Made for a great birthday weekend trip for my granddaughter. Perfect amount of room for our big family! Conveniently located to the Dallas Karting Complex where she wanted to go. Loved being able to sit outside under cover and visit while cooking out. The kids loved jumping off the dock! Would recommend!

We were in the area for business and we are glad we stayed at Debbie's airbnb. Her place worked perfectly, it was exactly as described. Debbie was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We highly recommend!

Me and my traveling companions all agreed that we’ve never stayed in a more beautiful and “homey” AirBnB! The home was in pristine condition, smelled incredible, and was so comfortable to stay in. The Christmas Tree was so elegant and the cherry on top of our stay. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We enjoyed this lake home! It accomodated 6 very nicely with the 3BR and 2 BA. We spent a lot of our weekend outside outside and loved the view and backyard access to lake and fishing dock. We enjoyed kayaking and playing outdoor/indoor games. The house looked newly renovated and has comfortable beds, couch and patio furniture. The owners provided complimentary espresso, tea and some snacks. Great location, only 5 min drive to Brookshires, Hunt County Trade Center weekend flea market, and Thai 'n Sushi restaurant, where we had very good food and friendly service. We would be happy to come back here for another vacation!!

We have stayed with Kathleen before, and it is always a great experience! We enjoy the privacy and the access to the pond. Our family has made many great memories here. We lost our daughter 2 weeks ago, and I wanted this to be the place we came after her memorial. It was one of the last places we were together as a family. Kathleen made sure to accommodate us and was so thoughtful. I will definitely be back again. It's becoming our home away from home when we visit our family in Dallas. Thank you Kathleen!

We had a great stay over the holiday weekend. We loved the waterfront property and large, fenced yard for our dogs. It was great that pets are allowed for a nominal $100 fee so that we didn't have to board them. If the property didn't accept pets, we likely would not even have taken the trip. The home is deceptively large, with plenty of room for our large family. The living room was very comfortable with a ton of seating for everyone. We enjoyed all being together. As others have mentioned, there were some quirks with the home, mostly because it's older lakefront. There were some bugs in the house, but that's country/lake living. They are also on a septic, so you have to be careful what to flush. We live in the country as well so we were used to it. Plenty of dishes, towels, bedding, etc. Some of the dishes were slightly dirty from the previous guests (I'm guessing) not cleaning thoroughly. We always rewash anyway. Great stay, will go back. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is the second time than me and my family enjoyed this glamorous tent. We love the nature, the air quality and of course the morning sounds of the birds, geese and the fishes jumping in the stocked pond. We can’t wait until our next family adventure.

Had a wonderful time. Big trees, Large backyard fire pit, old fashion gas stove & heater. Birds sining in the morning and best of all, Lots of fish. Ben stayed in touch and let us know where the best places to go. Price was great. Look forward to next stay.

We had a great stay at Kathleen’s place! It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location was perfect—just a quick 7-minute drive to The Pearl at Sabine Creek, where we were for a wedding. The space was just right for the two of us, and we really appreciated the strong water pressure and nice hot showers. Kathleen was a fantastic host, and we’d definitely love to come back and try one of the bigger cabins next time. Highly recommend!

The house was prefect for our family. Yes it slept 7 but we brought a couple air mattresses for our older kids who didn’t want to share a bed. Beds and pillows were comfortable and relaxing in the living room felt right at home. I had to work for a few hours every day and the internet was quick! The house and location were accommodating as we travelled to Terrell to visit family almost every day. We would like to come out again in the summer to really utilize the lake! There were no issues or concerns with the house. It was a smooth check in and checking out. Thank you Tara!
