This is my 4th time staying here. I absolutely love it. It’s always my first choice when back in Palmer. It feels like I am home when I am there.

Very nice and isolated cabin in the birch woods. The outdoor firepit gave the kids a ton of fun. They spent the evening lighting up fires and chopping woods. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with a couch downstairs for 7 people. The indoor fire furnace was easy to light up, but hard to control the tempreture. It was too hot for a few hours then a bit cold in the early morning. The kitchen/bath/dining areas are all nice. My family rated this cabin the best of the 4 airbnbs for this trip. Suggestion for future tenants: bring bug spray if the kids want to spend the evening out door with the firepit.

Very responsive, communicative, and understanding host! Everyone had a great time! The lake was so beautiful and it was so cool that there were kayaks and paddle boards available! I highly recommend. Shanna was very accommodating to our needs and always responded quickly. She really made sure that we were happy during our stay.

Really cute little house with ski chalet vibes. Liked that it was close to Hatcher pass and easy to get to Palmer. Would stay again.

Where to begin?? This was absolutely our favorite place to stay during our whole 3 week trip to Alaska (we stayed 9 days). The house was beautifully decorated and clean. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. The hosts were very responsive to any issues we had (clogged drain, fixed within 12 hours) and provided lots of fun recommendations for local things to do. Which we did not do, because we were having too much fun in the hot tub. They went above and beyond with all the amenities and small touches — spices, utensils, books, coffee, toiletries. It felt like a home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we plan to come back soon!

Took a boys trip with 3 friends and I selected Susanna’s home as our second choice as our first choice had raised the price of rental. This was easily the best decision we made. Susanna’s home in Wasilla was a prime location for our boys trip as we were able to adventure in any direction and enjoy amazing sights without having to drive an extra hour if you’re staying in downtown Anchorage. I was impressed with all of the amenities offered by Susannas home. The kitchen was very spacious and was stocked with every seasoning we could need. It often became our central gathering area of the house. Another treat to be able to view the Aurora Borealis from the comfort of the outside deck. Huddling around the fire pit was also very calming during these snowy nights. Overall, I would say this home is excellent place for you and your family (or friends) to stay if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Lower Alaska without having to drive too far. Enjoyed this home with grandparents and hockey kids. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and upstairs loft area for young people to play games and have their own space. Big open kitchen & dining was great for family meals. Good location with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Heather!

Glacier Suites has been part of a very special family tradition for several years now, and we plan to continue for many years to come! The host is amazing and quick to respond! The suites are homey and spacious! Our family loves Glacier Suites! I've recommended them to others and had others inquire about them because our experience there!
