He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

The main house sits perched up next to the forested hillside with a spacious great room, hot tub patio, large sunny deck, and stunning Olympic Mountain views. Just across the road, the cozy overwater cabin is pillar supported directly above the water, with wall-to-wall windows, private deck, fire pit terrace, and 2 kayaks for guest use. Peaceful, private, and unforgettable.

Hood Canal Beach Cabin with Hot Tub and Sauna

Dive, fish, kayak, shuck, crab, clam or just relax in our beautiful 1930’s no-bank beach cabin. Interior is paneled in refurbished original combed cedar with a vaulted ceiling in the living room, fir floors and hand-made rugs. Also available for rent are our adjacent studio cottage and our 2-bedroom beach cabin, located on the far side of the studio. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. Rent two or all three cabins for a large group!
