If you want stunning views in a comfortable, clean, and beautiful home this is your place! Suited our large family well with plenty of sleeping and visiting space - including a fantastic lawn and deck. Owners were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The whole family loved this place. Would definitely stay again!

This a fantastic space for large families/groups visiting Homer. Great location and the house is huge with a great view! Well appointed kitchen and comfy beds. The host was very quick to respond when needed. I knocked off a star because although the house sleeps 14, the kitchen table is only for six and there is no deck furniture exept four Adirondack chairs. The view is so pretty that spending time out on the deck or around fire pit is something everyone will enjoy.

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

Great place! New and very clean. Access to the garage was a huge plus as dogs are allowed and that was where they bedded down.

The stay at Whale view retreat was spectacular. The views were great and the house was very comfortable. It was everything promised and more!

What a view!!! Cannot be beat! Connie was very responsive to our questions. The bungalow was spotless, very clean. It was stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and fans in every room. We did t need the fan for our stay, but it was nice to know they were there if we needed. We saw a bald eagle fly by every night. And a bull moose was seen in the yard one morning. Watched him through the kitchen window. Thanks Connie for sharing your place with us. We hope to return again. And if we do, we will definitely stay here!

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice property.

A cute duplex cabin, good for two groups that travel together like we did. My daughter and I shared a queen bed in one unit and four friends shared the two beds in the other unit. Nice porch for admiring the views. The sofa in our unit may be used for sleeping, but we didn't try. We would stay again.

This was a great spot to use as our home base while exploring the area. Enjoyed family walks up the road where there are great views of Kachemak Bay (to be clear, it's not visible from the house). Neighbors are completely out of view, so it feels very private. Particularly enjoyed mama and baby moose viewing from inside the porch door as they hung out right outside the house for a few days!

Wow! What a great experience and adventure. The barn is such a cool old log cabin, cozy warm and lots of board games to enjoy. We didn’t even use the tv there was so much to do. Walked to the beach, explored the farmstead, petted the cows, chatted with Otto who lives next door and was very hospitable as well. We spoke with multiple members of the Kilcher family and they were all warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back! Also close to Homer so we could still get everything we needed.

The location was absolutely PERFECT for our stay! We could walk to most things and also had a beautiful view from the window and porch. The decor and overall setup of the space was perfect and so well decorated!! Marya also went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable, purchasing a washing basin before we got there for my hand wash items. She really did not need to do that but it was such a kind touch, along with the snacks, umbrellas, and recommendations she provided. I would stay here a million times more if I could!! Thank you again, Marya - you truly are a gifted host!

It was a nice cozy cabin! Private, but still just a short drive to any restaurants. I had a very nice stay!

Penny Pond was exactly what my little family needed. Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! My family and I did not want to leave! Wally was very kind and hospitable! The place was immaculate and still family friendly with a fully stocked kitchen. These two thought of everything from games, to wood stoves, fire pits and outdoor seating. This place is a hidden gem! We loved everything about this place. We did not want for anything. Thanks so much for making our experience special and enjoyable.

Overall a great place to stay when you visit Homer. Secluded and hidden away from the road which was really nice to let our dogs out and roam. It is about 20 minutes from the Spit so not walkable or quick to just go out and do stuff. Leslie was a great host and very accommodating. Definitely a place we’d stay again with the dogs next time we are in Homer.

Enjoyed our stay at Jen's 'tiny home' cabin. The cabin is plenty large for a single or couple and the hot tub and view were bith great. Very clean simple check in, would stay again.

We LOVED our stay here! The cabin was adorable, clean, & had everything we needed. The spa was a total game changer!! 😍 We were so thankful that such an amazing place was dog friendly! Would recommend to everyone & would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back! It is a super cute cabin with a great veiw off the back deck that you can watch while enjoying the hot tub. No light polution to interfere with stargazing. A great space to have your pets with you, the little fenced private yard was perfect, and it was nice being able to have a little bon fire while we hung out. I have already, and will continue to recommend this place for my family and friends. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely place with incredible views of Homer and the spit. We rented both units and it was perfect for a large group. The owner was very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and accommodated the requests we had. The home is conveniently located by various restaurants and other vendors such as Safeway which made our stay more convenient and enjoyable!

This has become a 'go-to' for me and my family! Always a treat and leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. For those that need to work, the internet is fast and reliable. The Sauna, Cold Plunge and Hot Tub are a highlight! Hosts are always friendly and welcoming.

Heaven on earth comes with a hot tub! Wow this place is breathtaking! High end touches with a real lodge feel. I have never experienced such a perfect spot from the privacy, beautiful grounds, unbelievable view, great hospitality and even complimentary breakfast. 10/10 couldn’t possibly reccomend anything as much as this sweet spot! Worth every penny and then some!

I brought my mom for her first time to Homer. This was a great location to explore from and a better one to come back to and relax.
