The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Sitting in its own garden, Yewtree offers more than just an Airbnb experience. It's an opportunity to get outside and enjoy Argyll, learn something new or just do your own thing. It's a cosy little base - which we hope you'll enjoy calling home while you visit Argyll.​

Beautiful Lodge overlooking Loch Long

Beautiful two bedroom Lodge with wonderful views overlooking Loch Long on the Rosneath Peninsula. This quiet hillside location is the perfect place to stay if you or your family are looking for a peaceful place to stay. The lodge sleeps up to 4 persons with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which can be set up for one or two persons. One well behaved dog is allowed. Unfortunately I do not allow cats The most perfect location for a well deserved break.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
