Lovely apartment in a gated community. We booked last minute and needed a cot and the hosts were more than happy to sort everything before we arrived. The apartment has a nice pool and we were the only ones there in the day. It's also really easy to get the airport and the view from the balcony is lovely.

Absolutely stunning place at a prime location all the best bars, restaurants snorkelling spots, shopping, gym I mean everything you can ask for, local super markets. Close to speightstown just gorgeous. Communication and property management was also spot on, although we were in the hottest time of the year the mid portion of the house can get a little hot, but then you have a lovely plunge pool to cool Off and rooms are spacious and air con in every single room. The amnesties and bbq grill every single attention to detail. I cannot recommend it enough and hopefully we will be back soon. Shout out to Chris and Katina as well. We even had a chef recommended by them to come and cook for us bajan food, and it was amazing. Thank you Amanda and Nigel once again you were brilliant hosts. Felt like we were at home.

Perfect for our long stay - quiet , relaxing getaway. House is well equipped, close to Catch 22 restaurant with the best Fishcakes in Barbados, secluded Archers Bay and The Animal Flower Cave. Size and comfort of garden and pool areas were pleasantly roomy, both were regularly attended to and were well kept. Comfortably large bedrooms with roomy en-suites. Breezy location, almost no need to use aircon units. House was well illuminated at night and local residents were friendly and respectful. Peter was a welcoming, friendly, professional and accommodating host. It was so good we'll happily stay again. A car is a must have for short trips to Speightstown etc.

My family and I enjoyed staying at the villa. It was large enough to accommodate four adults and one child. It was stylish and welcoming. We had everything we needed. My niece did not want to leave the villa.

This unit was exactly what we needed. We enjoy our privacy and freedom to go on our schedule. You really need a car but it is worth it to be away from the busy strip and in lovely grounds. Dawn was so helpful in connecting us with activities and recommending service providers. Everyone she recommended was fantastic. From car rentals to restaurants to activities, they were all focused on helping us have a great experience. Barbados did not disappoint and this space was a great home base. We also appreciated how spacious the unit was with high ceilings and open concept. Our teenage daughter had the huge second bedroom which provided her own space to relax. The pool is well maintained and we enjoyed swimming in the late afternoons. There was hardly anyone ever in it besides us. Recommend for families.

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful view of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet. You do need a rental car to get around. The housekeeper Madelene was fantastic, she worked with a smile on her face and made sure the place was nice and clean everyday. We also booked chef Lindrey for two nights and the food and experience was amazing. Dorothy was a great host and made sure that whatever we needed we had. We would definitely stay there again.

My stay at Sugarcane Ridge St. James, Barbados, was an experience I'll cherish forever. It was clear they took great pride in their work, and their kindness did not go unnoticed. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to this Airbnb location. Sugarcane Ridge is truly a gem in Barbados, offering an escape that combines luxury, comfort, and the warmth of genuine hospitality.

Lovely lovely street and neighborhood. Gated community was quiet and peaceful. Easy walking distance to the stairs at Freights Bay. Walking distance to Cafe Luna (beautiful restaurant) and Surfers Bay (another great spot to eat). Neighborhood and private community was wonderful. Neighbors were friendly and very pleasant. Nicky was very responsive on every question and text. We will be back for sure!

Great place! I loved the townhouse, I would live there if I could. The layout was great and it was very comfortable. I especially loved hanging out on the roof at night to look at the stars. As far as the surrounding area the beach was very close and easy to get to. Restaurants, however, were a bit too far to walk to with a kid (about 20 mins). If it had been just me and my wife it wouldn't have been an issue though. I highly recommend downloading the taxi app local to Barbados, this was very easy to use.

Really had a great time at Michele & Pia’s place. We rented a car. The location easy to find and is a straight shot from the BGI airport. Masey’s for grocery is close by. Walking distance to Rockley beach plus has good options for restaurants close by. We were there to watch the World Cup T20 cricket matches and caught a few others at the sports bar. Island is easy to explore and people are friendly. The air conditioning was good in the bedrooms & lounging area upstairs but rather toasty in living area and kitchen. We enjoyed the lovely verandah in early morning and late evenings. Overall a great place that we would love to return to.

We loved the cottage. So cozy, spacious, walking distance to two beaches. There is everything you need in the house even board games and books. We definitely would come back.

We have just got home from our 2 weeks stay at Eleanor’s villa. We normally stay with family but chose an Airbnb this time and what a great choice we made. The villa was beautiful, accommodated 7 of us comfortably, had everything you needed. The location was perfect for us, a few minutes walk to Miami Beach, 5 minutes away from Freights for surfing for the hubby and kids. 10 minutes into OISTENS and to the bigger supermarket. And a hop on the number 11 to anywhere else on the island was just 2 minutes at the end of the road. We felt extremely safe in the villa, the surrounding neighbourhood is lovely. Fiona was a fantastic host, replies to any questions immediately and let us have a later check out time which helped greatly with our flight home times. We were all very sad to leave this beautiful villa, it felt like home from home. We will definitely be back next year. Thankyou so much.

Very spacious and well equipped place. About a 15 minute walk to Miami Beach which our family really enjoyed! Waves on one side and a more calm bay on the far side of the lifeguard tower. We saw turtles and really enjoyed exploring the beach just across the street at the little beach access east of Freights Bay at low tide. It was too wavy to swim at Freights Bay when we were there but we loved watching all the surfers and watching the sun set. Great breeze on the patio and the dip pool was a big hit with the kids. A/C was great and beds were firm and super comfortable. 2 beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels were helpful. We rented cars and it was a good spot to explore from. We felt very safe. A great home base for our Barbados adventure!

We had a great stay, the place is very private and spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was provided. The sun disappears from the private pool area about 3.30pm but you can just walk a few steps to the communal pool area and you get the rays all the way to sunset. Diana was a fantastic host, she helped with car reservations and other recommendations for local attractions. We would definitely stay again.

OK folks listen up. I have stayed in Holetown airbnbs every spring for the last decade. This was the BEST AirBnb I've stayed in. Lynda was super responsive, the property was clean, comfortable, and the location is OUT OF THIS WORLD; ~60 seconds walk to the beach, 5 min walk into Holetown (or 10 along the beach), AC in bedrooms worked great and fan in main living room was totally sufficient for cooling. Will absolutely go back; fantastic experience!

Johnathon is a top-notch host. He is very easy to get in touch with and responds very quickly. He knows the local area well and was helpful with recommendations and advice. Problems that came up were dealt with and resolved as quickly as possible. Zaheera (property manager) is equally as helpful and caring. The house is clean, spacious and lovely, exactly as shown/listed. The plunge pool and decking is one of the best on the property, imo, as it is private and well cared for. The larger swimming pool was also clean, refreshing and relaxing. Beautiful beach is a 5 min walk. A very safe area with friendly neighbours. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing location, away from the busy areas but easy enough to grab a cab or bus for a day or evening out.

Exactly how it appeared online! We were provided with everything we needed and more, the whole place was spotless and kept well maintained. We would definitely stay there again, it felt like a home away from home. Great location and we had access to the gym every morning - the whole complex is very private with security at the gates. We were greeted by monkeys every morning which was a special treat. Brigitte was very quick on responding to our questions, will definitely recommend this villa to our family and friends.

When i started looking for a place to stay in for our first time in this beautiful country I really searched so hard! Mrs Gemma's place is extraordinary, as is our lovely hostess. Lorraine was also very wager to help and always responsive. Everything is as described, or even better if I might say. It is the definition of value for money, with beautiful and very inviting surroundings that urge you stay at home even if there is lots to do! We loved that mrs Gemma was right there on the premises, always kind, discreet and ready to help! She just made the experience even better!
