So thrilled with our stay. Many things made it particularly good for us. We are both remote workers and were visiting family but still had to work. The property had great internet, 2 desks, 2 comfy office chairs, a large monitor and "separation" between the work spaces. Excellent lighting throughout, which is important to us. We visited family and friends in NH, Mass., and Maine and all were easily accessible, as were grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants and shopping. Entrance to the property was so easy, and we had 2 designated parking spaces steps from the front door, making loading/unloading super easy. Motion sensor front light made entance/exit in the dark safe and easy. The pictures were true to reality, with everything updated, new and very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent water pressure throughout, too. A glitch with the heat on first night, but Askar and Sana were super responsive and it was all fixed next day. Great hosts. We'll definitely stay again.

Stepping Stones is a treasure of a home. It’s an authentic colonial era homestead with a lot of amazing history. The grounds and setting are bucolic. We loved feeding the chickens our scraps and collecting fresh eggs. The pool was a delight. There’s so much space for a large gathering of friends and family to feel at home and still each have our own personal space. Be prepared for normal old home quirks like uneven floors and basic bathrooms. But the plumbing works just fine, the kitchen is well equipped, there are ac’s in all the bedrooms to keep things comfortable on hot nights. We didn’t need them most of the time, though. The WiFi is great. Boo is the most welcoming host. 100% would recommend!!!

Great stay overall — just be mindful of seasonal comfort! We had a lovely time at this beautiful property — it’s well-maintained, peaceful, and has a lot of charm. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. Just a heads-up for future guests: the property has seasonal settings, so you’ll either get heat or A/C depending on the time of year, not both. It made things a bit uncomfortable during a weather transition, but manageable. Still, the beauty and uniqueness of the space definitely made up for it. Would recommend with that one caveat in mind!

Excellent place and hosts, highly recommended. Don met us in the place and showed us around and made us feel at home. The apartment was beautiful, extremely well stocked, and very comfortable. The location is great as it's very quiet but also very close to local amenities and the highway.

Loved staying at Henniker Manor. Amenities listed were all included and area was clean and neat. Bedrooms were satisfactory and kitchen was large and clean as well. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay at Henniker Manor!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the fireplace and the comfy couches for watching movies. There were so many great restaurants to try and everything was close by. We would love to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was so cozy, looking out upon feet of snow, and the decor was lovely. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, condiments, cooking spray, etc, which was so nice to have on hand to cook small meals. The hot tub under the stars was so relaxing, and we used it each night; the robes, flip flops, and other soaps and shower supplies provided also made the stay very easy and relaxing. We had a great dinner at Molly's Tavern & Restaurant nearby. I would not only recommend but would absolutely stay here again!

Host was friendly and helpful. House is located in an area close to a great grocery store and lots of shopping. It,s also not far from the mountains for those who want to leaf peep in the fall. The house is cozy and has everything you could want, just have to bring yourselves.
