Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Kayaks, bodyboards and a paddleboard are available for sea-lovers, or stay on terra-firma, building your sand-mansion in the shade of the pohutukawa trees.

Ground floor studio apartment - below our home in the quaint village of Hihi beach. 10 minute drive to Mangonui. Opens to a lovely garden and street. The studio entails a comfortable queen bed, a 3 seater sofa bed, wardrobe. Kitchen comprises of a table & chairs, electric frypan, hotplate, microwave, toaster, fridge, tea coffee etc. Bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity. Welcome to Little Bird Cottage, a tranquil, airy, light filled cottage, on 3 organic acres, overlooking Mangonui Harbour. The cottage has a great central location for visiting beaches and touring the Far North. It's a calm, rural, laid back haven with all the necessities, as well as books, boardgames, DVD's, a sunny deck and a hammock under the apple tree. Our visitors love the views and the peace and quiet. We live in the main house 30m away, with two friendly dogs and the 2 chooks.
