We stayed at this mountain retreat for my mom's 70th birthday and could not have been more satisfied with the home! Everything in the house is updated and of great quality. The views are spectacular and can be taken in from one of three porches, all of which contain comfortable seating. The kitchen was a highlight for our group as we cooked special meals for the birthday party. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hosts include many items like spices, condiments, paper plates, oils, etc., which is a lovely touch considering that it is a trek to the grocery store. You can tell that the hosts approach their rental with a spirit of generosity and put guests first. Towels, blankets, extra pillows, and truly anything you might need or want were provided. The location is very close to several trailheads; a couple are within a short walking distance. The home is also a great launching point for other attractions in the area. We hope to be back!

The location here is excellent. I've been to Snowshoe many times and have to say this is one of the best places you can stay. Truly ski in/out and very close to the village. Only bummer was the wifi didn't work and there's zero cell service in the unit. But I would absolutely stay here again. Great place and the hosts were very responsive throughout the stay.

Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

This was a beautiful home for our peaceful getaway. Check in was easy, we found plenty to do, and the views from the deck were amazing especially from the hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of 6 had an incredible time at this beautiful AirB&B near Massanutten, VA. The home was absolutely perfect for our getaway. It was spacious, cozy, and had a backyard that we loved—plenty of space for the kids to run around and play! The location was ideal for both skiing at Massanutten and sightseeing; we also had an amazing visit to Luray Caverns, which was just a short drive away. The home truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed, from toiletries to welcome snacks, and even games for family fun. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals—honestly, we only needed to buy food & seasonings. The host was incredibly responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed and that our stay was seamless. We will definitely be coming back for another stay. It was a perfect vacation for our family, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Highly recommend.

We felt right at home, everything was pristine and clean, peaceful, beautiful tucked away private location. The amenities were everything we needed to have the ease of a getaway where we didn’t have to worry about packing extra items. From baby equipment to the game room we felt like it fit all of our needs perfectly. I appreciated all the thoughtful details that are put in place to make sure you truly are comfortable as a family traveling. Loved the gazebo and firepit on the deck! I've stayed in Wintergreen a few times. This is a lovely condo. Checking in was super easy with a code from the host. Parking was available right in front of the residence. The bed was giant and comfortable. The kitchen and living room was a nice open space with a big smart TV. There is a small backyard with a beautiful view and patio furniture. Everything was clean and the wifi worked well. I would definitely stay here again it was well worth the price.

We had a great time at the foxy retreat this past weekend! The house is adorable and has so much space. The backyard feels so private and was such a fun place to hang out. Tammy was a great host, and gave us all the information we needed!
