Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

Hundreds of miles of forest roads, Munising, Manistique, Marquette, and Escanaba all await your visit. Pictured Rocks, Big Springs Kitch-iti-Kipi, Buckhorn, Jack Pine, all within your reach from this Northwoods retreat. On Country Road 440 near Foote Lake.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

We are a short drive to M13 and all of the recreational inland lakes that the area has to offer. Head the other direction and you are a short 15 min drive to Miners Castle/Miners Beach which can be a fantastic launching point to your UP adventure!
