I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

This was our 2nd stay. It's such a great place to spend time with family--lots of room & things to do...and a very well stocked kitchen. And they lake is so peaceful. Thank you, Charles and Nancy, for sharing your beautiful place.

Beautiful scenery. Fully stocked house (THANK YOU). They have kayaks, a wonderful outdoor firplace/gas grill (with a small fridge and microwave as well! Hightly recommend!

Quaint and peaceful place perfect for a long weekend gateway! Alicia is a very responsive host that quickly addressed a couple of minor issues at check-in. We ate a couple of times at the golf club’s restaurant nearby (~10min away, good food) and ordered in from a local pizzeria for our last night at the lodge (Alessandro’s). Highly recommend this place.

Ms. Michelle hosted my team as we were in town for a tournament and we thoroughly enjoyed the large space with the nice bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and the hot tub. We had access to everything we needed, with Ms. Michelle even getting some extra towels for us. A great stay!

We had such an amazing experience here. It was exactly as described and Ezekiel was kind, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Everything was perfect for our anniversary weekend. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and will most definitely be returning.

Anahata was the perfect place for our family reunion! I hope to find another reason to have a gathering here. There are spectacular places to walk and explore out side. Inside and around the house on decks and porches are great gathering spots for small and large groups. Our family of 12 could all sleep comfortably with beautiful private accommodation. Our day visitors of 10 or so people enjoyed the beautiful house and grounds. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve experienced and I’ve been to a lot. The owners were great communicators and took care of everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. This place was amazing. House on a hill with vistas 360. Ezekiel could not have been more thoughtful when preparing the house. Completely stacked kitchen and not with cheap stuff- it was all high quality. Beds, furniture bathrooms were expertly done. My family had a wonderful time and getting to know Ezekiel was blessing to us. Wonderful host who truly cares. Pro tip- you are out there- bring what you need. Nothing is close and its totally worth it.

The views from the cabin are as promised and as shown in the pictures, which was the primary reason we rented here. The cabin was also clean and comfortable. Overall, a great stay!

A Nautical Nook was a peaceful place to spend Labor Day Weekend with our two dogs and college-age kids. We loved the dock and used kayaks each day to paddle up the lake. Our dogs loved chasing a ball in the backyard and swimming with us at the water’s edge. The location is close to Smith Mtn Lake State Park and Mariners Landing, the latter where we ate dinner three nights, rented wave runners one afternoon to explore the larger lake, and played golf one afternoon. Robert’s kitchen had all we needed and the screened in porch was great. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but up until our visit Robert was very responsive so we imagine he would have been quick to respond had anything been needed.

We first visited Nature’s Retreat a year ago & booked again for this year as we were leaving. It is the perfect spot for a couple visiting Smith Mountain Lake. Well equipped and comfortable, private and peaceful, near the lake and surrounded by nature. Beverly is a fabulous host, responsive and helpful!

We have always wanted to stay in a yurt, and we couldn't have asked for a better one to try. It is spacious, comfortable, and immaculate. It has everything you need and is close to the main part of town. There was quite a symphony of birds chirping when we arrived, and we woke up to rain pattering on the top of the dome, which was very soothing. There was quite a bit of highway noise as cars passed by, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be tuned out. Highly recommended!!

Jennifer’s place is such a gem. If you like being on the lake and having all the toys and amenities already taken care of for you then this is your place. I have my own kayaks but it was nice to not to have to worry about bringing them. Kayaks for adults and kids, paddle boat, paddle board, beautiful deck, multiple ladders to get out after swimming. They have board games and a karaoke machine that was so fun. The porch was so nice and relaxing. Better than the pictures. You should stay here.

We stay for a short period as we worked near by and wish it was longer. This home had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you Daniel and Ann!

Great location at Bernard’s Landing - right next to the club house with the pool and other amenities. Very large space that could easily accommodate 4 couples. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at John’s condo, the view is beautiful! We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. SML is such a relaxing place, there isn’t a ton of “stuff” to do and I think that’s why we like it so much. It really forces you to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding areas. We did the baby goat snuggles activity that is suggested and it was so much fun and such a great family experience, we highly recommend it! Thank you John, we look forward to booking again in the future 🙂
