Barry is a fantastic host! He was super responsive, making the check-in process seamless and always available to quickly answer any questions. The location is perfect—getting to and from the airport was incredibly easy and convenient. The fantastic backyard offers plenty of amenities for a perfect summer day with friends, whether lounging, grilling, or simply enjoying the beautiful weather. We love cooking, and the kitchen exceeded our expectations—it was impressively well-equipped, allowing us to prepare delicious home-cooked meals effortlessly. We highly recommend staying at Barry's place. Thanks again for everything, Barry!

We loved our stay at The Blu in Palm Springs. My family of 6 had plenty of space and we all enjoyed the gorgeous pool and lounge chairs. The mid-century vibe was super fun. Thanks for an amazing stay, we will be back!

We’ve stayed in 4 Lake Arrowhead Airbnbs in the last two years and this was our favorite. It was immaculate (cleanliness is something I have very high standards for). It was well decorated and cozy—we particularly loved the comfortable couch and the gas fireplace. The secret kids room was a huge hit with my three-year-old who didn’t unpack a single toy or book we brought with us and it was very convenient that they had a pack and play (and a slumber pod even though we didn’t end up using it—the rooms get pretty dark and my toddler no longer needs it pitch black). The welcome gift with a personalized message, s’mores kit and hot cocoa was a really nice touch. We didn’t need a single thing while we were there so we didn’t touch base with Natalie much but we left our toddler’s pillow behind and even after check out she was very responsive and helpful. Super easy walk to the lake trail and close to the village and brewery. Great enclosed yard for pets. We loved every minute of our stay!

Loved it! I wish we could have stayed longer. This place was well positioned for a day trip into Joshua Tree National Park, or just a trip to the towns of Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree for quirky, arty, fun exploration and wandering. It was so satisfying to be in the high desert air and get out of the big city! Elena's decor is very tasteful and we particularly enjoyed the selection of books. Next time we will bring what we need to cook a meal in this very well equipped kitchen. Thanks, Elena!

My kids and I enjoyed our weekend at Hugo’s place we felt at home very comfortable and we made some good memories there we would definitely book again in the future. It was kid friendly with building blocks, and other outdoor activities stored in the garage we enjoyed the backyard space as well.

Sam's house was perfect! There was ample space, everything was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the pool area was spacious and lots of fun, and the bathrooms were immaculate - it was perfect for my husband, my brother and sister in law, their 2 kids and our dogs. Everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend staying here. Sam's instructions were also very clear and if we ever needed anything he was quick to respond. He was extremely accommodating of our early arrival too. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Sam! We hope to be back soon.

Kate's Dreamy Desert Barn was exactly as described! I booked the home for a bachelorette party, and our large group fit comfortably in the space and enjoyed all of its amenities—including a well-appointed kitchen, fantastic outdoor area with plenty of deck chairs around the pool, lounge-y indoor seating, record player, and more. Our weekend in Joshua Tree was extra special thanks to our gorgeous, boho accommodations and Kate's fantastic communication. Kate reached out ahead of our trip to provide local recommendations, and she was incredibly responsive when we had a couple of special requests. Several of the women on our trip who are local to Southern California mentioned that they plan to book Kate's place for another group trip. 5 stars!

Fantastic spot! The place itself was very clean, spacious and very easy to settle into. Kitchen had a coffee maker which was great! The property itself is very private and lots of room to lounge and take in the lovely weather. It is very nicely located between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs so we could go wherever we felt like without much of a drive. Karen was very friendly, communicative and clear in the instructions including check-in and check-out details. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely come back on our next trip to the Palm Springs area!

SAFE, CLEAN, Quiet & SLEEPS GREAT. As a solo female traveler, safety is my first concern. I was between work conferences, and Nathalie's casita was the perfect affordable place to stay near Palm Springs. It is SO CLEAN and well stocked. The linens and bedding are high quality, and the bed is fantastic. The extra touches made me feel like I was staying with friends (without the obligation of speaking to anyone!) I did not use the pool but enjoyed reading a book poolside. I walked in the neighborhood for exercise and to the local Juice Bar and grocery store. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance, and I always felt safe. It's a short Uber to downtown Palm Springs and the Tram (buy tickets in advance; it fills up!) My favorite things were the oversized tile shower with rainfall shower, the comfy bed, linens, and towels. Equal or better than Marriott. The entry and exit instructions and Nathalie's good communication are excellent. This is a place to return to again.

This home is one of my favorites! It is stunning, huge but feels like you are right at home, very very clean, great location and amenities to use. Overall my friends and I had an amazing stay here. 100% recommend.

My son and I have been visiting Idyllwild a few times a year since he was a young teen. We've stayed all over town, and we like Astrid's best so far. We came this time to lock ourselves in for the weekend of Alien Day (iykyk) to watch all of the movies. I chose this place because of the living room and TVs, and my son loved bringing his vinyl to spin. It was perfect for our niche trip. The photos don't do the place justice. It's cozy and interesting and filled with cool little details in each space. All of the instructions are clear, and Astrid is beyond helpful when answering ridiculous little questions. From the windows we saw deer families, chonky squirrels, and a very proud blue jay. At dusk, we heard the adorable clicks and commotion of resident bats. Astrid's place is perfect for families, couples, grown siblings. It's got great common areas and private rooms. A fantastic place that we will stay in again as soon as we have a chance.

This place was so wonderful and beautiful. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and slow paced enough to make the day feel long.

We spent a weekend at Malabar Lodge with family and had an amazing time! The home is very big, spacious, and beautifully designed, it truly feels like a real cabin in the woods. It had everything we needed, and the amenities were great. The host was very accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d love to stay here again!
