The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The cottage suits a couple and in the lounge is a sofa bed for a third guest. If there is only two of you and you require the sofa bedding please let us know at booking. Located in the heart of West Auckland's vineyards and wedding venues, 36 kms from the Auckland CBD. Close by is Muriwai Beach with its gannet colony and surfing, also the magnificent Kaipara Harbour, Woodhill and Riverhead forests. Ideally situated for those travelling via the scenic Kaipara Coast and 40-60 min to AKL airport.

Fully renovated, light, self contained cottage with stunning views of our special valley & Farm. Ideally suited for a couple, but we have a comfy sofa bed ( double), so 2 extras may be accommodated. Just 45 mins drive from Auckland CBD, 8 km from closest small town. An easy stop to or from the airport. Ideal for those looking for a quiet get-away, also with everything required for a longer stay; or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. There is a full kitchenette, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Ian and I welcome you to a taste of country life and country noise, an hours drive from Auckland City. The Shed offers peaceful rural and water views plus the occasional visit from wild deer and peacock. Nesting swallows on the porch in case you have a fear of birds! It is a restful stop on your travels, or an escape from the hustle bustle of life. Stand alone with a garage between it and the main house. Family Retreat in the Countryside, time to unwind. Relax and enjoy surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You will love this newly build accommodation, inspired by modern European country style, set against a backdrop of magical native bush. The accommodation is separate from the main house. Guests will be treated to a complimentary continental style breakfast which includes coffee, tea fruit and juices. We also include fresh seasonal fruits from our orchard as available.

Walk down end of drive to view Kaipara River. 2 Minute drive to Parakai Mineral Pools and Helensville village, or 10 minute walk to Helensville river walkway to local cafe's or supermarket. Short drive to Muriwai Beach and South Head walking tracks and lakes. Trolley bed for extra adult available, $20 night.

Laundry amenities at main house and secure on-site car parking. Close to village, semi-rural with sheep on the boundary fence. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site).

Unique studio unit. Separate to main dwelling with own access and self contained. A lovely light and airy space originally designed as an artists studio. Space includes queen bed, two comfortable chairs, small fridge with tea and coffee bench, and shower and toilet. Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

Herald Island Hideaway

This unique, freestanding tiny house with lean-to is a private, welcoming space and is ideal for one person or a couple. It has a small, private fenced yard and a dedicated free parking space for one vehicle in the front. Everything you need to prepare a delicious meal is provided in the fully equipped kitchen: pick up your supplies at the supermarkets in Hobsonville or the Farmers Market at the weekends at Hobsonville Point.

An idyllic country retreat on the edge of a secluded lake just 35 minutes from Auckland. With 3 bedrooms, generous living flowing onto amazing decks, and a gorgeous tree-lined setting it’s the place to recharge batteries for up to 8 special friends.
