Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is super clean and spacious. The town itself is quiet and near the water, and there are plenty of fun things to do just a short drive away. Robynne is a phenomenal hostess and was very helpful with recommendations. Her huskies are so sweet and well behaved and loved to say hi to us. I highly recommend staying here!!

Simple studio style apartment set up. Located in small Pahoa town right above a kava bar. Host responds right away if you have any questions. Check in was easy, we just messaged the host and he responded with information on how to get in. This Airbnb is literally above a bar so please be aware that there’s entertainment going on below you and that comes with a lot of noise. If you are fine with that then this is a perfect place for you. Noise dies off around 10pm. You may be kinda locked in the next day because it’s a place of business and they lock up during closed hours. There’s a gate that protects the property from main road so if you’re unsure how to get out, just message the host. We figured it out ourselves, although it took a bit. Also, I had trouble with WiFi but it’s ok, I just used my phone as hotspot. Hot water in shower is more medium Hot than Hot, it was fine. Building is very old & you may be visited by the local bugs.

Ellas place is as listed. Clean, a kitchen with all the pots, pans and cooking utensils. Hilo has a lot of good eateries but I like to cook my own meals and this place allows me to that. Bathroom is clean and the place is well kept. I was in Hilo for business and the location is central, and the work station was enough for my needs. Be aware that there are chickens, ducks and the occasional wild pigs, running around, but that is just part of the Hilo charm.

We enjoyed our stay. We would consider booking again should we come back to Hilo.

Rhonda and Jeff were fantastic hosts! Their place was modern, spotless, cozy, and so thoughtfully set up. The small AC unit was surprisingly powerful—as long as the room door stayed open and the ceiling fan was on low, it stayed perfectly cool. They thought of everything: beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkels), bug spray, even an umbrella by the door. The bed was super comfortable, hot water was reliable, and the assigned parking spot was large and convenient. My husband also appreciated the outdoor cloths for cleaning gear. It’s a bit of a drive from Hilo and Keaau, so a vehicle is needed, but otherwise, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. We’d absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would happily come back. Rhonda and Jeff are such thoughtful and lovely hosts—thank you both for your warm hospitality!

We were very happy with our studio! Very clean , surrounded by beautiful plants and tons of different flowers. We had our dog with us and she had fun too. Being able to do our laundry was a great benefit and blessing. Jacob was very friendly nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

This place was clean, well stocked ,we loved the pool and beautiful yard and deck! Michelle had plenty of recommendations and was always reachable. I would stay again and can recommend !

Beautiful home, well maintained. Host was very proactive and even let us know that the area the home was had a power outage prior to our arrival which fortunately resolved by the time we arrived. Pool was a great temperature for dipping into after laying in the sun. Spacious living area. We would happily stay there again.

A lovely, quiet setting, yet not too far from town. Sites on the Hamakua coast, such as the Tropical Botanical Garden, were also within easy distance. The room and lanai were very comfortable. The kitchen appliance and clean-up arrangements were a bit awkward, but doable and met our needs. Laura helpfully brought us a coffee grinder to use because there wasn't one in the room.

This was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences we've had. I say this because Jenell was a wonderful host and everything was just as advertised. If I had anything to add it would be that the enclosed patio was icing on the cake. We gathered each morning for coffee and breakfast and ended up spending time out in the afternoon as well. The temperature was perfect with afternoon breezes and we even grilled steaks one day on the gas BBQ which was provided. Just a wonderful experience and we hope to one day return.

Beautiful secluded area & exactly what we were looking for! Had plenty of space for our family and all essential amenities. The screened in lanais were awesome and expanded the living space. Everything was great and Jozsef was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Brand new! Clean! Roomy and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Although they live in the property, they respected our privacy. House was clean and had everything we needed for our 6 week stay. The pool was incredible, which our kids and us frequently enjoyed. It was hard to leave and hope to be back again.

We are so grateful to have found this Airbnb just a few months before Merrie Monarch. While it is a little further away from Hilo, the drive was very easy and filled with green views. She was very responsive to answering all our questions and if we ever needed anything. Definitely quick and easy going communication which I appreciate. The home fit 4 of us comfortably and had everything we could possibly need for our 5 day trip. The pups were also very cute, friendly and well behaved. The location of the home is also in such a beautiful little neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again if visiting in the future. Thank you so much!!

Gene's place was fantastic! Great location ..walking distance to Merrie Monarch Festivities. Beautiful walk through the lagoon park to the beach every morning . Great location, great price , definitely recommend !

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

This condo was beautiful and spacious. She left soooo many amenities we were blown away. Like sunscreen if you needed it, woman products, creamer in the fridge, chips and macadamia nut treats. Truly a wonderful well stocked condo, not to mention the stunning view from the deck. We will stay here again for sure! Mahalo for having us

The place was so cute and the lanai was amazing! The running water outside was so relaxing and there was perfect seating for lounging and hanging out. Everything was clean and very well set up for a small place. It provided the perfect place for the start of our honeymoon and very well located for us to get to everything we wanted to do. Definitely rent a car and explore the area!! If we visit Hilo again this will be the first place we look at!

I really appreciated all of the things that they provided in their Airbnb that we could use during our stay. The location of their Airbnb was perfect for all the things we wanted to do.
