The place was fantastic, communication great, location stunning. A proper kiwi batch, my family had an amazing time. Allison arranged for my elderly parents to get some help leaving after my father had a nasty fall. Such great local help. We are in Whiritoa every year, it’s a lovely community and one of NZs hidden gems.

Great little bach, very comfy and had all we needed plus toys for the infants with us, and bikes and kayaks available to use. Location suited us, just 5 minutes walk to the beach :) Hosts were helpful and flexible with our check in which we much appreciated!

This is a great location on the canal front with a view straight down the waterway facing north.The property has its own water access boat/jet ski launching ramp and pontoon which is really convenient. The pool ,spa and deck areas get plenty of sun and great views. The house was very tidy and larger than expected with plenty of areas for privacy if anyone needed that. The kitchen is equipped with all thats expected in a home to cook for a family group and theres a second fridge and kitchenette to use which is helpful. We would come back again for sure.

This was our 2nd year staying at Kim’s place for beach hop - such a great house with plenty of space for everyone, beautiful location with walking distance to the beach.

This house was a beautiful place to stay for me and my family. Well equipped kitchen, games/ bikes for the kids, good location, 5 min drive to town & beach. We loved the spa, you do have to fill and drain which we didn’t mind. It was also convenient to have the washing machine & dishwasher, especially for a big family. Overall 100% recommend to book :)

It’s a beautiful home that can accommodate lots of people. It should be noted that both master bedrooms and the main kitchen are upstairs. Two days was too short of a time to appreciate all the house had to offer.

Home was clean, tidy, comfortable and amenities as described. Very close proximity to the beach, lagoon and store. It was the perfect getaway for our family (teens and toddler).

Lee was very friendly and responsive. We had fluctuating numbers and Lee was communicative and helpful from the outset. The house is perfectly located and spacious with plenty of natural light - exactly as advertised. This was the most well-stocked kitchen (in terms of utensils, quality oven trays, etc.) I’ve ever experienced at an Airbnb - knives that were actually sharp enough to cut tomatoes! Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend Lee’s place.
