We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

The house matched the description exactly and had everything we needed.

Great storage space in the separate double bedroom. We needed the extra space. Kitchen stood out- had 2 fridges and a freezer, double oven dishwasher and well stocked. Plenty of space for 2 Sarah and Martin were very hospitable. Cuddington is a lovely village with a local pub, small shop and PO. There is a small village cinema showing carefully curated films. We loved the local circular walking routes.

The house was very clean and tidy and felt homely and cosy. The village is beautiful and peaceful, just right if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time. With a big kitchen and two bathrooms, this is a perfect space for a family to stay. Gilly is a very friendly and helpful host. We would definitely stay there again.

The apartment is modern and clean! The host gave detailed instructions and was responsive. It is also near the centre, about 10 10-minute drive, so really convenient.

The hosts, Lisa and Martyn, were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always approachable and responded to any questions promptly and courteously, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. The accommodation was exactly as described—peaceful and comfortable. Upon arrival, I was touched to find a thoughtful selection of breakfast essentials including bread, milk, butter, homemade jam, coffee, and tea. This warm gesture was a lovely welcome and set the tone for the rest of the stay. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful. I woke each morning to the sound of birdsong and ended each day marvelling at the star-filled night sky. Visiting in spring meant I was lucky to see fresh green foliage, bluebells, and wild garlic in full bloom, creating a truly picturesque and healing landscape. The property includes a vast vineyard. What an amazing stay we had, a really needed night away with my bestie away from the kids. Perfect place, perfect setting, perfect hosts honestly just great. Cannot recommend more! Thank you for having us. We would love to return sometime.
