‘Curlew' is on East beach in the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. Two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West. Now a bookable sauna on the beach and free parking can be arranged

Emma and Phillip welcome you to one of our two luxury glamping pods complete with outdoor bath near the quaint village of Branscombe. Located on our working farm, you will be secluded in the comfort of the pod, looking out at views of the East Devon countryside. A wood burner is perfect for a cosy winter’s night, or to enjoy those summer evenings there is a large decking. We are situated perfectly within walking distance of the South West Coast path to explore the picturesque coast on foot.

Nestled in a secluded valley on two private acres, this serene escape offers a swimming pond, wood-fired hot tub, and a gentle stream, all surrounded by scenic walking trails leading to the beach and beyond. The property comfortably sleeps 12+, with additional space available.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Wake up to stunning sunrises over the valley and the sound of birdsong. Have a leisurely breakfast inside or out on the south-facing terrace. Enjoy days, with a choice of coast or country, towns or local attractions in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Maybe eat out in one of the many local pubs or restaurants. Return to Starcombe for a sundowner or relax in the bath, star-gazing through the window at the panoramic dark skies.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Oakbridge Corner offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for 2 +baby. Set in the heart of Sidbury village which boasts a pub, 2 shops and a good bus route to the surrounding area. Come and explore the outstanding countryside and Jurassic coastline or visit the many local towns-Sidmouth, Honiton, Lyme Regis or venture into Exeter for something to eat or drink. Exeter airport is a 30-minute drive away and Honiton has a train station with good links to Exeter and London.
