This home is just a short distance to the local universities Clarkson (4.2 miles), SUNY Potsdam (6.5 miles), SUNY Canton (12 miles), and St. Lawrence University (10 miles) as well as Rochester Regional Health (CPH) 5.7 miles.

Enjoy our country getaway on 130 acres, just minutes from Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. Explore our horse barn, hiking trails, stream, or relax by the pond. We are located close to great snowmobiling and skiing trails also! The studio apartment is located above a newly constructed garage, that is not attached to our house so you have plenty of privacy. It is an open layout with a queen bed, a daybed, and a twin trundle that can be pulled out.

Riverside Cabin & Nature Trails

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. Cozy Riverfront Cottage

This cottage is located in northern New York on the Raquette River. It is a beautiful area within one and a half hours of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Ottawa, Canada. It is within a few minutes of Canton and Potsdam New York. There are many hiking trails, lakes and rivers which offer boating, fishing and swimming. Nearby Saranac Lake has wonderful summer theater and Lake Placid has world class skiing.

Raquette River Retreat- Potsdam NY

Welcome to Potsdam, NY. There is a $50 fee per each dog. No cats allowed (one of us has a severe cat allergy). Our home is on the Racquette River and within a short drive to: St Lawrence University - 18 Minutes Clarkson University - 11 Minutes SUNY Potsdam - 9 Minutes SUNY Canton - 24 minutes Tupper Lake - 45 minutes Saranac Lake - 1 hour 20 minutes Lake Placid - 1 hour 40 minutes
