Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

Charlie’s Hut sits in the heart of our woodland offering immersive sounds of wildlife, privacy and a relaxing experience. From the luxury of the cosy cabin, you can enjoy a dining experience inside the Hut or step outside and dine amongst the nature of the woodland. Enjoy a BBQ / Fire pit in the summer air or take comfort during the colder months. Charlie’s Hut is a spa suite in the woods, featuring a Hot Tub, an outdoor bath which can also be used as a cold plunge & has a wood burning Sauna.

Enjoy wonderful walks along Hadrian’s Wall and the River Tyne and enjoy the superb pubs and restaurants of the Tyne Valley.

We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Within two miles of the historic town of Corbridge, this comfortable cottage is tucked away in a rural location with stunning views over the Tyne Valley. Despite its rural setting it is close to some excellent pubs and restaurants, and the market town of Hexham.
