This retreat was just fantastic. Check in was easy, the house was immaculate and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom were fully functional. And I adored the outdoor spaces. The hot tub, fire pit, hammock, outdoor shower, lights in the trees, stars and the feeling of complete isolation were exquisite. The house is also located perfectly between Dripping Springs and Wimberley so that it was easy to go shopping, hiking, investigate wineries.m, distilleries, breweries, etc. And only an hour away you can be in San Antonio, Austin, Fredericksburg so it’s just a fabulous property. I would LOVE to stay again but longer!!!

Favorite stay to date on Airbnb. Already raved about it to friends and planning to come back. Such a thoughtful experience from booking to check out.

Really enjoyed staying here. It is quiet and clean and very nicely set up. My only complaints aren't even really complaints, just unexpected... The cabin is pretty close to the road. There is a row of trees for privacy and protection but we expected to be further back. It's on a quaint circle of other cabins, which you can see your neighbors... But they were quiet and it was very peaceful. We also for some reason expected the hot tub to be under a covered patio, which it isn't. There is however some lovely rocking chairs under a covered patio which was very lovely since the first day it poured rain. There are also no chairs to lie out but there are plenty of seated chairs. We anticipated this and brought our own zero gravity chairs with us. The experience was overall very lovely. Beautiful little cabin with all you need. Great movie choices. Enjoyed our stay.

Tricia's place was exactly what we were looking for and everything we could have hoped for. The property is beautiful, secluded and incredibly peaceful. No neighbors, no noise, just absolute serenity. Plus, her pets were so friendly and definitely added to the whole experience. The cabin was amazing in itself because of how old it is and how well it's been preserved and maintained. It had every modern amenity you could want or need. The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great and the WiFi worked great for streaming. With all that said, we would absolutely go back again.

This was our third time to stay here. As always it’s secluded and quiet. Great amenities and decor. A very relaxing and peaceful getaway for our anniversary!

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. It was comfortable and clean. Loved the art on the walls too. Nice and quiet location but still close to town. The back deck was where we spent most of our time. Hot tub was great. Would totally rent this place again.

This place is pretty secluded in the woods. Basically an outhouse to the owner’s main house. Pretty far away from the main place so you are not disturbed by or disturbing the owners.

The perfect hill country weekend was spent at Neil’s beautiful home. Lago Vista is tranquil and relaxing; just we needed to get back to nature with our pup. We found Neil’s place to be extremely clean, very relaxing and quite comfortable. Thank you for a fantastic stay, Neil!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful farm, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a host of friendly animals that added a special charm to our stay. Traveling with our two dogs, we’re always on the lookout for places that are genuinely pet-friendly, and this farm exceeded our expectations. The open spaces and welcoming atmosphere made it a perfect retreat for our pups, who thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and fresh air. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. It’s evident that the hosts have put a lot of thought into creating a space that’s both inviting and accommodating. If you’re seeking a peaceful escape with the added joy of animal companionship and a place where your furry friends are truly welcome, this farm is the ideal choice. Had a great stay! Very peaceful and comfortable. The caboose was charming, and the grounds were well kept.

From sunrise to sunset, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! The views were stunning, the pickleball court and pool were so much fun, and the convenience store had everything we needed. The attention to detail was amazing; the place was cozy, spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was ideal, with easy access to wineries, restaurants, and local activities. It was a girls’ trip weekend, and we felt safe and had an amazing time. I highly recommend this place whether you’re planning a getaway with your partner, family, friends, or even just looking to escape the city solo for a weekend. It’s pet-friendly! We’d absolutely go back and truly enjoyed our stay.

Loved the communication with the Heather and Megan! Anytime I had a question they always responded. Gorgeous home and in the perfect spot! My husband loved walking down to the water every day to fish and I enjoyed taking my daughter to Lakeway Park. We also visited the zoo and ice cream museum! One of my favorite things to do was to relax on the screened in porch. We had such a great time!

Wade’s Cabin is the epitome of quiet serenity. The location is epic and is secluded from the outside world, surrounded by trees and nature, yet close to town. There is an awesome nature trail right off the cabin doorstep. Inside there is everything you need. The bed was comfy and the surround sound was a bonus! Can’t wait to return!

For people that enjoy getting away in nature, peace and tranquility - then this is the place for you! I live in Las Vegas and life is always go, go, go! It’s always great to find a place that grounds you. Loved the tacos at Tacuties on Menchaca! Definitely would come again!

This was the perfect little getaway spot. Cozy cabin, great views and right by the water. Kelly was great with responses when I had questions and made everything very easy. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

4 days on the property and didn't see a single soul. property is near other homes so you'll hear others living their lives during the day... working in the shed, kids playing, car alarms, etc. But mornings and evenings are pretty quiet. property is a good balance of out door camping and convenience of shelter and electricity. good option for a quick get away from Austin, not too long of a drive. outdoor space is great with picnic table, fire pit and hammock. Jay was super helpful and responsive.

David and Athena have done an absolutely amazing job with this place. We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. David and Athena put thought into every detail, and it shows. Very comfortable, very clean, very peaceful location. David and Athena are also very warm, welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This place is such a gem! The love and attention that went into building this cabin does not go unrecognized. The property is secluded and has the most spectacular hill country views! Getting to the house involves some “off-roading”, that with the right car is VERY fun! There’s a river crossing and some spiraling roads. We saw wild hogs, turkeys, deer, foxes, donkeys and critters on our weekend trip. Suzanne was an excellent host and was very responsive. I truly can’t wait to come back!
