Ms. Keiko welcomed us and kindly showed us around the house. We had the whole space for ourselves and could enjoy talking until late night. It was a wonderful stay in very natural surroundings.

We had a great time staying here during our honeymoon in Japan! We loved how the place was decorated and it felt like a home away from home!

Felt right at home. Really like: - clean - Shower was great with great water pressure - laundry - Netflix is already connected - quiet neighborhood - bed and blanket were comfortable - parking spot was convenient so highly recommended for anyone to book this place if you are planning to drive

This charming Japanese house is nestled in a mountain town with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji. For the best views, head to Arakawa-bashi Bridge (4-minute walk), where you can gaze south at Mt. Fuji, especially stunning during sunset. The Ku River is just steps away, with a scenic walking path lined with sakura trees that bloom beautifully in early April. We stayed here for a month in March and April and enjoyed the sakura at its peak. The area boasts a couple of notable restaurants. 郷土料理 ほうとう信州 serves delicious regional Haotou dishes, while Sakae Sushi (栄寿司) offers tasty food at affordable prices in a cozy mom-and-pop setting. Takashi and his staff have thoughtfully equipped the farmhouse with many amenities, setting it apart from other Airbnb options. We highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here with my wife and a 3 year old. This place is honestly better than the description. Pictures don’t do the justice. Mt. Fuji’s view was perfect. Host was very supportive and responsive. I have given 5 to everything except for the location, which I gave a 4. It was a good location with 15-minute walk to the station and 15-minute walk to Pagoda, but if you are more interested in the Kawaguchi lake and surrounding areas, then you have to walk to the station and take a short train. It’s a residential area so there’s at least 10 minutes walk to nearby convenience stores or restaurants. If you are there for a peaceful stay, I would recommend this. My family will definitely visit again.

Really love the hospitality, cleanliness of the unit, peacefulness of the neighbourhood with plenty of stores of restaurants around. If I come back to Fujinomiya one day I will definitely pick this place again!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön an einem kleinen Bach in einem Dörfchen, umgeben von Bambuswäldern und Teeplantagen. Das alte Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe und Auge fürs Detail hergerichtet, sodass man den Charme eines alten Japanischen Bauernhauses hautnah erleben kann. Direkt von der Unterkunft aus kann mit einer vom Gastgeber sehr schön selbst gestalteten Karte ein kurzer Spaziergang unternommen werden, um einen ersten Eindruck von der Umgebung zu erhalten. Daisuke hat darüber hinaus viele Vorschläge zur Erkundung von Shizuoka und hilft gerne bei Reservierungen. Wir haben uns dort als Familie mit Kindern und Großeltern sehr wohl gefühlt und bedauern nur, nicht noch mehr Zeit eingeplant zu haben. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

We had a great time at the accommodation. Is it easily accessible (including video instructions), checkin is flexible and details about the area are provided. it is around 25-30 minutes walking distance to the famous Fuji pagoda. the house has a traditional touch, which is exactly what we were looking for. bonus points for the SNES game console, kotatsu and eBike opportunity. we can wholeheartedly recommend this AirBnB.

Apartment is near to the Kawaguchiko station and within 5 minutes walk. A very quiet neighbourhood. Spacious and 2-storey with stairs with own backyard and front porch to park a car. Everything as described in the informations and photos provided. Host is super super responsive! Friendly and helpful. Thank you! I would recommend 👍🏽

二回目の利用です。前回と同様にとても素晴らしい体験でした！ お部屋がとっても素敵なので、観光の拠点としての利用も良いですが、部屋でゆっくりくつろぎながら思い思いにおしゃべりするのにもうってつけです。暖かいお部屋で素敵なソファ、ホットカーペットに寝転がり、隣の和室に子供を寝かせて、夜遅くにお酒を飲みながらおしゃべりしている空間は至福でした。子供用の遊び道具もたくさんあります。 また、オーナーの方も暖かくいろいろな配慮やサービスをしていただいて、本当にありがたいです。また、対応もすぐにしてくださいます。 今回も舟盛りと鯛しゃぶのご用意をお願いいたしましたが、そちらも素晴らしく豪華でおいしく感動的でした。おすすめです！

My friend and I stayed here a week, after a lot of busy travelling we were looking for somewhere to relax and this was perfect. We loved it so much. The bikes were a highlight.

One of the best stays in Japan. Gujo is a hidden gem, a small country town which has all the delights of Japan on show, castles, shrines, shopping without the crowds. Kinori was a piece of paradise, a true traditional experience with everything that you needed. It included a lovely garden and lots of spaces to chill and relax. We also enjoyed the use of the kitchen after being reliant on restaurants for the previous 2 weeks. Yuri the host is lovely, she was there to meet us on checkin and provided lots of information about the house and Gijo. To top our stay off we were there for the summer festival, lots of traditional chanting, drumming and music, a real spectacle.
