Mick and Sarah's accomodation was as described. clCheck-in / check out was easy and the house was in great condition. They were responsive throughout and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at barn elm lodge! The house was massive and easily accommodated the 10 of us with so much space and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Host very responsive and friendly

We had a lovely one night stay ! We found the host to be super friendly and helpful for and accommodating for our needs. The check in was simple and well documented on the app. The property is exactly as seen on the photos and if anything exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay and would happily recommend this to friends and family

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

We had a fantastic time at the nook for our honeymoon! It was a peaceful little getaway, where we felt secluded from the world while relaxing in the hot tub with the complimentary prosecco (thank you!). We loved being able to walk into the town through the park, go to the many cafes and restaurants with lots of vegan options. Ideal for a couples getaway.

Lovely place to stay. Great location and a great back yard to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely house for the value.

We loved our stay at Watersedge Lodge, which has superb views of the valley and the nearby canal. There is a range of seating outdoors - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The appartment was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with good utensils/pans for home cooking, and we were grateful of a fridge and a freezer. What made our visit extra special was the hosts. They were quick to respond to messages and very understanding and accommodating of our needs. They are kind, considerate and supportive. We highly recommend Watersedge Lodge. It’s a perfect bolt hole for those needing a quiet retreat, or if you want to explore walks and bike rides on the nearby canal, or farther afield in the Yorkshire Dales. There are also lots of cultural and historical adventures to be had nearby in Leeds, Bradford, Saltaire, Keighley, Haworth and Skipton. Finally, as mentioned by all the guests…. The Yorkshire Tea loaf is a winner! ❤️

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

A very comfortable place to stay with a huge TV in the lounge, comfy bed, great shower and nice helpful touches - milk and biscuits are always appreciated. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a great dispenser in the shower and easy parking on the property. After saying I wanted to go for a walk, Mark helpfully gave me directions to the local reservoir that can be walked around. There is a nice pub opposite this road (a very short walk, just around the corner) and various other places a short drive or longish walk away. I wanted a good walk so for me, walking to the local pizza and separate fish and chip shop was good. I’d forgotten that in this part of the world fish is often fried in beef dripping, delicious! After my walk back to Mark’s place it was nice to have a cup of tea and a couple of sweet biscuits. Mark’s place is in an interesting old building which has been painted and finished inside to a very high standard. Comfortable and perfect for my needs.

Marshall’s place was exactly as described and he was very helpful to communicate with even if it was late night, Marshall met us at 12am to check in even though this was outwith normal check in times. The apartment was clean, tidy, and perfect for a little getaway with links to many public transport. Great host and great stay!

Having a house number would have helped me to find it. Maybe I missed something but I needed to call to get advice on the exact location.

We really enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer! The cabin was warm, cosy & comfortable & well equipped for it's size. Having a BBQ & fire pit was a great addition which we loved. We would definitely stay again & recommend.

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend the hub tub as made it even more special. zero stress from booking to leaving. Well worth every penny.

The lakeside eco cabins offer truly amazing accommodation and are set in a beautiful location.We have never stopped anywhere that is so well equipped to cater for the absolutely perfect stay (the owners had really thought about every small detail to enhance our time spent there). We also loved the closeness to nature from the bird wildlife on the lake to the deer roaming the site. Fantastic experience and a big thank you from the Davies family for sharing it with us

Visited with 5 friends for a relaxing one night stay. The pictures do not do the lodge justice, when exploring around the lodge it is a lot bigger inside than what it looks on the outside. 2 bathrooms which made it comfortable for all. We had a slight issue with the gas running out and Michael responded within a couple of minutes to fix it for us. Hot tub was beautiful and clean. Kitchen is big enough to make meals comfortable. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful, peaceful location. The lodge was spotless and well equipped. The location is a great central point from which to explore the local area. We will definitely be back!

When we turned up we were greeted and taken to the cabin to check in. Rias father was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, everything was explained to us and anything we should need we just had to ask. We absolutely loved our stay, it was such a cosy cabin and very much needed for some time away, it was in a lovely peaceful area and just a short drive away to the local shops and restaurants 😀 We will certainly book to stay here again. on arrival Anne was the perfect host ,the accommodation and surrounding area was beautiful we couldn't have felt more at home or comfortable,I would not hesitate in recommending this perfect hideaway to anyone and can't wait to return .
