The place was really easy to find, and there are several bus stations near the apartment. There are also supermarkets nearby. The neighborhood is friendly, too. And most importantly: April is really nice, The check in (and out) went smoothly, her cats immediately greeted me as well :) the cats are both super cute and easy going. The apartment is exactly like described and can be seen in the photos, and as a woman travelling alone, I felt safe and comfortable :) I can really recommend this AirBnB!

Second time staying at Michel’s. The location is really easy to reach from the airport. This is an important factor for me because my flight was very early in the morning and I could easily get the bus that take me to the airport from there. As there’s always bus to go to the airport, from there, I could continue my trip to the central easily as well. The surrounding area is calm and quiet. There was a forest close to there with a lake and sandy shore, all just one bus stop. The room and the house are well prepared by Michel. Overall, I had a good stay.

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Apartment in Amsterdam verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Alles war genau wie beschrieben – die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Check-in verlief super unkompliziert und Mike war jederzeit hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Dorine was a great host, very responsive and happy to help. Check in went very smoothly even though we arrived late in the night. Place was very clean, had everything we needed and looked like in the photos. Highly recommended!

I didn’t end up staying in the apartment listed (knowingly), but it was similar and in the same building. Tonny was lovely, and the place was ideal for me - quiet, comfortable, near the train station, not a far walk from the city center, had everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay very much.

This apartment was wonderful! Clean, modern, comfortable, convenient, with everything you need. The pleasant host met with us to give us a tour and recommendations. Very cute little 3rd level apartment, historic and authentic but also contemporary. The spiral staircase was nice too, not as steep and narrow as traditional European homes. Right on the outskirts of city center, minutes away from everything, including the train station. Plenty of restaurants and lots of shopping, a few local museums and other activities. Or just take the train 20 mins to Amsterdam. We would definitely stay here again!

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben direkt am Strand, einmal über die Straße und die Aussicht morgens toll. Strandbars zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Roger’s place and hospitality made the trip to Amsterdam more enjoyable. The location is superb in a quiet area. Clean, spacious & well equipped. Roger was responsive and helpful. Definitely will consider coming back!

Massive thanks to Rolf, Julia and Bruno for making us feel so welcome. Amstelveen is a lovely neighbourhood full of green space and it’s really easy to get into central Amsterdam. The fridge was fully stocked with goodies and the beds were really comfy. We’d recommend alongside Rolf and Julia’s suggestions - locally - a visit to Sunday - which is a floating bar and restaurant on the lake. And Holy Cow - which is an Indian takeaway that will deliver. Definitely take the bikes that are available. Is worth noting that they are proper Dutch bikes and to brake you have to pedal backwards. From experience… it’s Important to learn this before setting off. 😂. We hope to be back soon - Tom, Hannah and Indy the dog

This is exactly what we were looking for! This is the perfect location for those that want to be near the action but also not directly in the center. We stayed 6 nights for our first trip to Amsterdam. We ended up being here for Kings Day, which was not planned at all, but WOW such an experience. Brian was such a responsive host, who was able to provide local recommendations and was flexible with our check out. This place is so close to so much to do. It took a bit to become familiar with the transit systems as we do not have this in North Carolina but once we got the hang of it, we went everywhere. I would absolutely stay at this Airbnb again. Thank you Brian, for making our first trip to Holland the best.

Die Unterkunft war super schön eingerichtet – mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einer sehr gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit in der Wohnung. Es war sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Highlight am Ende eines jeden Tages war der große Whirlpool. Remy ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und hat immer dafür gesorgt, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Sowohl das AirBnB als auch den Gastgeber kann ich nur weiterempfehle.

We had a truly wonderful stay on Laura’s boat. It was perfect for two people - quiet and private, yet close to all of the excitement of Amsterdam. It was so fun to live like a local on a boat house for a few days! It is a boat, so spaces are small, and if that bothers you, you need to choose somewhere else. But if you want the experience of living on a boat for a few days, you will love this place. Definitely rent the bicycles from Laura! If you haven’t seen Holland by bike, you haven’t seen Holland. We loved this place. I really hope we have the chance to go back someday.
